"Oh, don't act so innocent..." Bier mumbled, but let himself be licked as he pulled Leech indoors. "If you're gonna stay with us, we have to get rid of that tracking thing of yours."

He walked upstairs to where he had hidden Bitz and let her out, all the while thinking about where the tracker could be.

"Stay, yeah!" Leech answered rather...loudly as he wagged his tail with enthusiasm. "Then I protect! Yeah!" Evidently the whole 'we have to get rid of the tracking thing' didn't bother him in the least...that or he'd managed not to hear it at all. Either way, he was perfectly blissful as he hopped about, demonstrating how he could 'protect' them. He slid to a stop once Bitz was out--a total change of attitude setting in as he sat there rather patiently and wagged his tail all the while smiling at Bitz.

Bier noticed the abrupt change as soon as Bitz was in sight, but just found it to be a pleasant change as it made him less noisy. Bitz, happy to see them both, hugged Bier and then went over to hug Leech.

"We need to find and remove his tracker. Any ideas?" Bier asked, then sighed as he found himself ignored. He calmly decided to wait for her to finish.

Leech reached out with his arms as if he couldn't exactly stand fully waiting for her to hug him. Evidently he liked her company a lot and was plain overjoyed to see her once more. He had ignored Bier all together, once again. If Bitz was around he seemed to do that though. He was perfectly willing to listen to her, but poor Bier...well, he was to be ignored.

Bier sighed as he watched the two. An eternity seemed to pass before Bitz let go and listened at all to her brother again.

"We need to get rid of his tracker." he repeated. "Any ideas?"

"Not really..." Bitz shook her head. "The only detachable thing he has is his collar, so it's probably either there or inside of him."

"Well, then let's get rid of his collar." Bier said quickly with an air of determination. "I'm not gonna open him up so collar it is!" After a moment of hesitation, he added: "You remove it."

"Get rid of collar, yeah yeah!" Leech agreed, leaping about ever so gleefully. No doubt, he thought the only true way to really restrain him being done away with was a fantastic idea.

Bitz laughed. "Stay still, then! We can't take it off if you keep bouncing around!" she called to him in between attempts to catch the zetraloid so she could remove his collar.

Leech stopped his hopping and held still--apparently he was capable of doing such a thing. His tail wagged back and forth regardless.

Bitz quickly got to work on removing the collar that lay around his neck, and held the item up triumphantly as she managed. "Here we go!" she called out gleefully. "What do we do with it?"

Bier just shrugged. "Leave it here and find a new spot?"

Leech yawned and shook his head before choosing to stand on two feet once more--something he seemed to rarely do. He was almost unstable at first until he seemed to remember how he used his tail for better balance. His head swiveled as far as it could to one side before he started wandering off, still on two feet, which seemed to make him significantly slower. Evidently this discussion was of no importance to him.

After a bit of discussion, Bitz and Bier decided on what to do. Or rather, Bier did - he snatched the collar from his sister and dashed away with it before she could object, going to the other side of town to throw it away.

"No! Stupid! They KNOW about this hiding place!" she shouted, now at nothing in particular. "Stupid stupid stupid! They'll find us anyway!"

She stomped her feet a bit, but soon calmed down and took a new drink as she pouted. He'd figure things out in time, hopefully.

Upon hearing Bitz's displeasure at, well something, he wasn't sure what, Leech decided to return.

"S-something wrong?" He asked, tilting his head to one side as he continued with his slightly unsteady balancing.

"Bier ran off." Bitz mumbled, chewing on the straw to her drink. "He thinks that if he tosses the collar away somewhere far off, they'll leave us alone and we can keep living here. But since they came here once already, they'll come here directly when they find out we threw the collar!"

"Dumb Dumb Bier." Leech had evidently decided to side with Bitz, whether by understanding her reason or just liking her better. He walked around her in a circle a few times before stopping and sitting down.

"He really is..." Bitz whined. "He's always that way. I just hope he comes home alright."

"City dangerous place." Leech answered, as if THAT was much comfort, "We should find him!" No doubt it was just an excuse to get out once more and go exploring.

"Are you sure?" Bitz asked, but she was so easily swayed that she didn't even give Leech time to react. "We have to find him! That clutz is sure to get into trouble!"

Of course, Bier wasn't in a lot of trouble. If swerving into random people, getting lost, and generally being a bother to everyone else in the vicinity didn't count that was.

"Yeah, yeah!" Leech agreed to well his own suggestion, nodding his head enthusiastically, "Let's go!" Without waiting to see if she agreed, he rushed over to the door before realizing that he didn't remember how to open a door.

Bitz followed him, and chuckled lightly as she opened the door for him. She then followed him, unwilling to be in the lead, and just looked around for her brother.

"This way!" Leech insisted, indicating which way he thought they should go with a nod of his head. Of course he hadn't been into the city in a long time so this was pretty much a complete blind lead. Once more not waiting to see if she agreed, he headed off in the specified direction, right across the street without any regard to the cars traveling it.

Bitz tried to follow, but worried and afraid of the traffic she stopped before crossing the road. "Leech!" she cried out, but she didn't expect him to stop and tried to follow his reckless dash. However, once a car begun to honk and shriek and make the noises that usually came with trying to suddenly stop, she froze up. She was unable to move with all the horrible noise and lights and metal monstrosities that cars entailed, leaving her in the middle of the road like a frightened reindeer.

(Hahah I just realized you called her Bier again XDD)

Leech stopped in his tracks...sort of. More like flopped over himself as he made an abrupt turn back towards Bitz. No doubt they had and were causing quite the scene, but that didn't matter to Leech in the least.

"Bitz? Bitz???" He called as he swiveled himself around where he stood in the street. He stretched himself as high as he could tip toe on his hind legs as if to hear her call above the cars better but his head wasn't slowing its turn at all when it went over the general direction she was. It was pretty obvious Leech couldn't see her, or possbily anything for that matter.

(There, fixed. >_>; And they had no doubt ... done what?)

At first, Bitz didn't know what to do. She could hear Leech, but every time any dangerous situation like this had arisen Bier had been there for her and dragged her away. Without being lead by the hand, she suddenly didn't know what to do.

"H... Here!" she called out back to Leech, cautiously moving a step. The angry honking of the cars was only getting louder, and soon she saw someone leaving his vehicle. Struck with the desire to avoid capture, she finally took the escape into her own hands and dashed off, at the speed only Bier usually wanted to use. She couldn't swerve or control the speed or turning like him, so she had always hated it but... Now was a special case. She headed straight for Leech's voice, most likely ramming into him once she actually got to her friend but just trying to cling to him.

(Who knows I was tired lol XDD)

Leech yelped in surprise at her rather sudden ram and cling as he evidently hadn't saw her coming. Either way, he didn't seem upset or anything.

"Bitz?? Are you okay?" He asked, tilting his head to one side.

He hadn't bothered to get out of the street all the way but that wasn't exactly surprising either as his mind usually seemed pretty focused on...one thing at a time, and it wasn't often safety.

"I-I'm fine, please, let's go..." Bitz whined softly, nuzzling her head against Leech as she made no move whatsoever to loosen up. "The street is scary, I don't want to stay here..."

"Yeah, street bad." Leech agreed, although it seemed only because it was alarming to Bitz that he thought this. "Hang on!" He dashed across the remaining stretch street and skidded to a stop once he had gotten them to a quieter spot, away from the crowds and cars they had just been by.

Once everything was calm and quiet again, Bitz finally loosened her grip on Leech before letting go altogether. She sat down, exhaling in relief as she looked around. "Thank you..."

After sitting quietly for a minute or two, she got back up to her feet and looked to Leech. "Should we get going?" she asked. "I'll try to keep up..."
