Video Game Songs, what are your favorites?

Since some people apparently like video game music, I figured why not post this. You can talk about why you like them and such if you care too. Wink

And yes, I have all of these on my ipod. XD

All time favorite:

Out of curiosity one day, I looked at some of the extra stuff available in this game. I sat down and started listening to the soundtrack just to see if there were any songs I would like. I liked what I heard, but was dumbfounded by this track. I remember laying on my bed, and listening to it over and over. So beautiful. The way it changes up part of the way through gets me every time.

Other favorites:

I never actually beat this game, but whenever I got to the place where this track would play, I would linger for a long time. A very atmospheric piece; haunting, chilling, captivating.

Though I only ever beat 3 and 6, I do remember loving the Megaman Battle Network series a lot. The setting and the way the games played out was very unique, and it saddens me deeply that there won't be any more games in this fantastic series. This track in particular stands out because... well... it's amazing! It definitely fits the feel of the game, and it makes battles even more exciting and entrancing.

Oh childhood, how I miss you. Any time I listen to music from the original or second generation of pokemon I calm down and feel a sense of peace. This track is my favorite though, because it's just so... wow. I honestly would like for this to be played at my funeral. The pokemon series means a lot to me, and so does this music.

If you ever feel the need to find a unique video game soundtrack, this game has the best video game soundtrack I've ever heard, and it's a flash game. I remember sitting in the parking lot one day while my mom was shopping. I closed my eyes and listened to this song. It was the most immersing experience I've ever had with really anything.

Anyone that knows me at all, knows I'm a nut for the Shining Force series. While the second game I feel had overall better music, SF1 still has some pretty great tracks. This is but one of them.

Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana. This is an awesome game. A gem of an rpg. The music is amazing as well. Very cool overworld theme, imo.

...Are any of these working? They aren't showing up in the preview (my internet wants to suck, right now. -.-)

Nope. :I (they are there, but they won't show up for me, which probably means I did something wrong. Anyway, changed them back to regular links. Bleh.)

Chrono Trigger probably makes my top 5 games of all time.

Come to think of it, Wind Waker's Dragon Roost Island had a nice, relaxing feel to it but I'm too lazy to find videos.

Anyway, it's that time of year when I pick up a bunch of games and play them and realize they have pretty awesome music that I didn't fully appreciate the first time through.
