Prologue

One year ago, the MB leader created a mysterious program known only as “The Game.” Many MB’s nearly lost their lives at the hands of this game, but in the end managed to escape. The program to the game was then locked deep inside the depths of the MB base, eternally guarded by Fridgy, the deception refrigerator and nitroglycerin nerf dart turrets lining the halls. All the MB’s thought this was the end of the story, and went on with their normal lives. But it was far from the end, because no one knew what trouble that little disc would cause.

Despite the best efforts of the MBs, word leaked out into the gaming community that there was a new kind of game. One that would overshadow all games that came before it. It wasn’t long before a group of gamers decided that they must have this game. That they must show the world the greatest game in existence.

And thus the assault on the secret MB base began.

Chapter 1

This mission was important; Attain the world’s greatest game. Failure was not an option. And there would not be any failure. Through the night he crept like a ninja, towards one of the many entrances to the MB’s secret underground base. You might be wondering why they knew where the MB base was. Well, that’s because some idiot put up a “Secret Base Here” sign on the tree that was typically used as the entrance.

There was no time for subtly tonight. The MBs were away, doing something badass no doubt, and his window of opportunity was short. He set several C4 charges on the tree and got a safe distance before detonating them.

After the entrance to the base was blasted open he quickly made his way into the elevator, moving down at carnival-ride speeds to the main floor. The moment he stepped inside he heard the alarms roaring.

“INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT! PREPARE DEFENSIVE SYSTEMS! YOU’RE SCREWED NOW!”

That didn’t sound good. But he rushed on none the less. Time was short, and he must work fast. One montage of running down the swirly stairs, through the magical bowling alley, down the fire poles, through the air vent stairs and one very long hallway later he saw what he was looking for; The door to the safe.

The moment he stepped into the corridor several laser sights were immediately on him. He looked up at what appeared to be nerf gun turrets with laser pointers duct taped to them. Normally he thought this wouldn’t be a threat, but there was something in the air. He could smell it…Nitroglycerin. He heard the guns pumping and immediately searched for a place to hide. The only other thing in the hallway was…a refrigerator? Wait, was that thing moving?

The refrigerator was indeed moving, more than moving. I Mechanical clacking sounds rang out as the seemingly innocent household appliance grew arms and legs, forming into a humanoid shape. This was Fridgy, the decepticon refrigerator the MBs had installed in the lower levels of MB for defense.
Out intruder grinned under his mask, he saw an opportunity.

“Hey ugly! Over here!”

Fridgy turned to see the intruder and charged for him. Just as he expected the turrets stopped pumping; they were ready. Fridgy had just reached the intruder when the turrets started firing, blasting out guard in the back, the explosive darts damaging his back heavily. The transformer hit the ground.

The intruder quickly bolted for the safe door, barely dodging the deadly projectiles. He stood still for a moment and dived as soon as he heard the click of firing. It had worked. The exploding foam bullets made quick work of the safe door. And luckily for the intruder, the defense turrets had run out of bullets.

He dashed into the safe and grabbed what he had come for, a computer disk sitting in the middle of the room. This was it. He got what he came for. He grabbed the comm from his belt

“Scout to base, scout to base. I have retrieved the game.”

“Good work. Come on home.” A voice crackled over the radio.

And thus the MB’s were robbed of the game they had tried to protect the world from…all while they were out getting ice cream.

Chapter 2

“I’m telling you , yellow is a far more useful color than green!” Simian shouted at T_L.

“Is not.” T_L said matter-of-factly. “Green is obviously more useful.”

“What are you two idiots going on about now?” Suri asked from the back of the Adminmobile.

“Suri! Tell T_L that yellow is better than green!” Simian whined.

“I don’t even understand the point of this stupid argument.” Suri sighed.

“I wanna know how we fit all the MBs in here.” Soma spoke up.

“This is more important!” Simian replied to her.

“And more irrelevant to the plot.” T_L added.

The adminmobile quickly came screeching to a halt, sending several of the MBs flying forward.

“Damn yellow light.” ZF cursed under his breath, mumbling about how much he hated driving this thing. “No yellow light should change that quickly!” he yelled, clutching the wheel.

“Get off of me!” Suri shouted and shoved Simian from on top of her.

“Ow, be nice.” Simian whined.

“If that light was GREEN that wouldn’t have happened.” T_L said, looking pointedly at Simian.

“I-you….SHUT UP!” Simian yelled in reply and crossed his arms.

“I want to know why you’re all acting like children.” Soma said quietly.

“What I want to know is why we had to go get ice cream when we OWN an ice cream truck.” ZF grumbled.

“Because I said so mortal.” Mega declared from the passenger seat. “And you wouldn’t want to disobey me, would you?” she asked with a threating tone.

ZF sat up quickly “Uh, no my liege, never!” he said tensly.

“When are we gonna end all this dialogue and get on with the story?” Cajun asked?

“Wait for it….wait for it….NOW!”

And so the MB’s arrived back at the entrance of their base. Immediately Mega could tell there was a problem.

“OH MY GOD!” Mega screamed as she jumped from the adminmobile and ran to the destroyed door. She quickly looked down and kneeled next to the lawn gnome be her feet. “Someone rotated this gnome six degrees to the right!” Mega reached out to turn the lawn gnome back to it’s correct alignment. She stood back up and turned to put her key in the door when something began to dawn on her. “Hey ducklings! Something appears to be wrong with our door.”

“Um, what door?” T_L asked, looking at the empty gap where the door used to be.

"Who put this sign here?" Soma pointed at the 'secret base here sign'

Simian whistled innocently, which caused everyone to glare at him.

"What?! I forget things!" he said defensivly.

“Oh my god! Security breach!” ZF shouted “My golf club!” he screamed in horror and quickly ran inside the base to check on his beloved weapon.
The MBs looked at each other, one by one began realizing something they loved was in the base.

“My movies!”

“My CDs!”

“My Monkey!”

“My Ya-…nevermind”

Before long the MBs were all inside the base, checking to make sure everything was still there. After awhile Mega called them together.

“Well, how was the search? Was anything missing? Was there any intruders?” She asked.

Soma looked up grimly “Yeah, there was an intruder…”

Cajun frowned “He damaged Fridgy.”

ZF lifted his golf club on to his shoulder and looked down at Mega. “And…he stole…”

“What? What did he take?! Not the N64 again!” Mega wailed.

“He stole The Game.” ZF replied, and clutched his fist around the Holy Golf Club of Doom.

“Oh no…”

End chapter 2.

First off, I would never argue about anything that stupid...Or maybe I would...it depends...don't judge me!

SECOND I dont think Mega is blasphemous :/ Just saying. But whatever floats your boat.

Chapter 3

“Alright guys, we need a plan!” Mega spoke to the MBs gathered around her. “So…who has one?”

Simian raised his hand quickly “OH! OH! I have a plan!”

“Does this plan involve duct tape, balls of yarn or rubber ducks?” T_L asked sarcastically.

“No! Shut up!” Simian frowned.

“I’m sorry simian, but I don’t think you can come up with a useful plan.” T_L replied.

“Hey, give him a chance guys.” ZF spoke up “Maybe he’s got something good.”

“Alright. What’s your plan Simian?” Soma asked.

“Alright, here’s the plan; Get the game back!” Simian said excitedly.

“I’m sorry I asked.” Soma sighed.

“Case and point.” T_L smirked.

“Anyone else?” Mega asked.

“Well” ZF spoke “T_L, Suri, Cajun, and I have been discussing it, and we have determined that we need to work fast. It’s only a matter of time before they activate the game.”

“And the game dimension is still very unstable from the last time we were there.” Cajun nodded.

“So if they activate it, we have no idea what might happen.” T_L continued.

“The Virtualatorinator is still destroyed too. So the proper equipment to combat anything from the game is not in our arsenal.” Suri finished.

“Maybe not….” ZF mumbled to himself and fiddled slightly with the digital watch he always wore on his left arm.

“What was that ZF?” Soma asked.

“Oh, nothing Soma.” ZF shrank back.

“Alright.” Mega said as she stood up “With so many of the MBs away with Brad, it looks like we’re on our own for now.”
The MBs looked around at each other. Mega, Simian, T_L, Belbell, ZF, Cajun, Suri, and Soma. They were all that were left at the MB base for now. Everyone else was out with Brad battling Verizon Wireless.

“ZF, T_L, you’ll be my advisers.” Mega said.

“Why them?!” Simian whined.

“Because you whine too much.” Mega smirked.

“Do not!”

“You’re doing it now simian.” T_L said bluntly.

“Am not!”

“Conversation over.” Mega snapped. “Now, ZF, T_L, come with me.” And with that, the three walked off.

“Seriously, how come their the advisors?” Simian asked whoever was left behind.

“Well, it probably has something to do with the fact T_L is good at that kind of stuff and he WAS a beta tester for the Game.” Suri mused.

“And ZF was pretty much our leader last time. I guess he’s best the former leader take up as an advisor to the person who wasn’t there.” Soma added.

“True.” Simian dropped his shoulder in defeat.

“Anyway, I don’t think this will be much of a problem.” Cajun layed back in his chair and put his feet up “It’s not like it will be much of a problem. Like we said before, the virtualatorinator is broken. And that means there’s no way in or out of the game. Even if they turn it on there’s nothing they can do with it. No worries.”

“Maybe you’re right.” Suri smiled softly in relief.

As usual. The MBs had no idea how wrong they were.

Hmm... I sense a plot device. This makes it convenient for them to be shipped into the game as reinforcements at the last second, right when all hope seems lost. I like, I like.. lol

Cool chapter, though it seemed like mostly filler. XP Though I write a bunch of that, so I shouldn't be complaining. xP Nice job. =D

Chapter 4

Meanwhile, in the dark lair of evil forces the thief returned from his mission. He sat in a black leather chair at a table with several shadowed figures.
“I assume your mission was a success?”

“Yes master. I have retrieved the game.” The thief replied and slid the case containing the disc across the table.

The boss’ hand stopped the case and he looked at his contents.
“You have done well my minion. You will be rewarded for your success.”

“As for the rest of you, take this disc and prepare the computers for testing. I want to make sure this disc is the genuine game.

“Yes boss.” Various men scampered off to complete their orders.

“I have another meeting to attend to.” He said ominously and walked through the doorway behind him.

Through the doorway was a room even darker than the last one. In the darkness there was a glimmer of crimson red. The boss of organization ran his hand over the metallic surface of the helmet that sat before him. The familiar rasping voice spoke in his head.

“Re…revenge….I will…have….vengeance….”

“Yes my friend. Yes you will. You will have your revenge and I will have my riches. Our hour is at hand.” The boss grinned widely and his teeth glimmered in the darkness. “Now, Let’s check on my employees.” He turned and made his way to the main computer room. Past the “GS” logos plastered everywhere.
Inside the main computer room, huge screens were up on the walls, flashing lights, wires, and keyboards. The boss made his way into the middle.

“Have we made progress?”

“Yes sir.” A worker replied “We are about to display the results now.”

The boss looked up at the main screen as it turned on. Before his layed a vast world that looked much like our own. The beautiful yet deadly digital world had been reborn.

Chapter 5

At that moment, deep in the MB base, a secret project was unfolding.
ZF sat huddled in front of his desk, tools in hand, working desperately on something he was sure would be a vital tool in what might be a fight for both the real and digital world. The only light in the room came from a lamp in the corner and several sparks shooting out from his working place.
“Almost got it…last piece.” He gingerly took what appeared to be a micro data card and slipped in gently into the side of the watch that sat on its stand in front of him. “There.” He sat back, satisfied and watched as the watch screen blinked several times then displayed a roaring dragon head, ZF’s personal symbol. Two sets of numbers sat on either side. He smiled widely at his work, took the watch off the stand and strapped it back on his arm just as there was a knock at his door.

“Come in.” he spoke softly as he stood up and put his jacket back on.

ZF’s door opened and Soma peeked her head inside “ZF?”

“Oh, hi Soma. Did you need something?” ZF smiled lightly as he spoke.

“You’ve been holed up in here for hours. Come on and do something with the rest of us.”

“Alright, alright Soma. “ He walked outside with her “Was there something you had in mind?”

The shadowy MB grinned widely, grabbed his hand and dragged him off.

“What do you think that was about?” Simian asked Cajun, watching Soma drag his friend down the hall.

“Eh, I dunno. Butit looks like ZF has his hands full.” Cajun chuckled.

“Yeah, women; who understands them?” Simian shrugged and the two returned to their game of connect four.

Meanwhile, T_L was watching mega attempt to play ping pong with a paddleball. In her eyes, she was winning.

“Mega, you know that’s not how you play ping pong right?” T_L spoke up.

“Well duh. But this way, I always win.” Mega explained.

“Um, how? The ball doesn’t even go to the other side of the table.”

“Are you questioning me human?!” Mega stared at T_L angrily.

“No, no, of course not.” T_L panicked.

“Good!” Mega said in a quick mood change and continued her game.

T_L slowly made his way out of the room and bumped into Suri.

“I think our leader has gone insane.” He mumbled to her, weary of Mega’s supposed vampire-hearing.

“All of us are a little insane. If we wern’t we wouldn’t be here at MB in the first place.”

“Good point.”

Chapter 6

“Dammit ZF!” Soma shouted as they left the room they had disappeared into for the last fifteen minutes. “I can’t believe you won at Battleship again! How the hell do you keep doing that?”

“Problem solving skills.” ZF replied innocently.

“You mean cheating?” Soma frowned.

“Yeah. Pretty much.” ZF grinned.

“ZELDAFAN!”

“Huh?” ZF turned around and looked down the hall to see who was yelling at him.

“You are seventeen seconds late for our meeting!” Mega yelled.

“We’re having a meeting?” ZF asked, confused.

“Yes. And now you have wasted further seconds with stupid questions. Now come on!” Mega yelled, then proceeded to run down a random hallway that ZF and Soma were pretty sure lead to nowhere in particular. She returned several minutes later, mumbling something about feeding whoever moved ‘that wall’ to resident monkey-fish. Which once more, ZF and Soma were pretty sure the MBs didn’t have. The two followed after Mega down the new hallway to the meeting room.

Once the trio arrived they found T_L attempting to play the MB past-time of ‘How many times can you hit Simian in the face with a plastic bat before you get in trouble.’ T_L had reached a high score of eighty-seven.

“Now minions!” Mega announced “We have matters to discuss and….SIMIAN!” She shouted at MB’s resident torture-monkey “Your face is distracting me! Do something about it!” yelled the leader, frowning.

“Bwat Lewder I-“ Simian attempted to speak through the blood and bruises on his face before T_L threw a brown paper bag over his head.

“Problem solved leader!” T_L said happily.

“Good job T_L!” said the leader approvingly. “I’m giving you a promotion!”

“Sweet!” T_L exclaimed, giving a fist-pump at the air. “What am I promoted to?! Mod, Admin?!”

“Better! Pretzel boy!” Mega replied cheerily.

“What….what does THAT mean?!”

“It means you get the honor of bringing me giant pretzels which I will likely not eat and instead throw at someone. Not just anyone can do that you know.” Mega said matter-or-factly.

“Great.” T_L sighed.

“HWA! Pretzwal boy!” Simian laughed from under hit bag, he was then struck by a plastic bat.

“Eighty-eight.”

*meanwhile*
Watching from a distance from the conveniently-placed window that makes no sense was a spy from the group of evil-doer nerds who had swiped the game. The spy was charged to watch the MBs for activity.

“This is who we are up against? How the hell do these guys get anything done?! Ugh, better give the boss man a call…”

Chapter 6

“Anyway, what is this meeting about?” ZF asked, sitting down in one of the stupidly low and uncomfortable chairs that the meeting room was full of.

“Well, last night, we detected minute traces of condensed particle-rendering energy waves akin to those utilized by the devices we used previously in order to enter, exit, and manipulate the virtual world.” Simian said, reading off a notecard.

“English please.” Cajun sighed.

“Someone turned the game on.” T_L replied sarcastically, twisting the lid off his flask to take a drink.

“Fantastic.” ZF sighed. It had happened much sooner than anyone had predicted.

“How much time do we have before it starts, Mega?” Soma asked, turning to the leader.

“Time? Wait, what? What is she talking about? Before what starts?!” Simian spoke up, squirming to get comfortable in the chair of extreme discomfort he had been banished to when he tried to take the bag off his face.

“Well, ducklings….what I didn’t tell you was, the game disk kinda got scratched when I dropped it on a cactus.” Mega explained vaguely.

“Cactus?”

“Don’t ask.” Mega said, waving the question away. “The damaged game disk….it’s activation could cause some unpleasant results.”

“Such as?” Suri asked, raising an eyebrow.

Mega produced a notecard from her pocket and proceeded to read off it. “The ripping asunder of the fabric of space and time causing a dimensional rift between reality and the world of the game thus allowing entities from both sides to interact on the same plane and cause unparallel destruction upon the face of the world by means of forces far outside the boundaries of logic, reason, and physics.” She said cheerfully.

“ENGLISH.” Cajun persisted.

“Where are these notecards coming from?” T_L blinked.

“It basically means stuff is gonna break out of the game into the real world and butt rape reality.” Suri toned in.

“Interesting interpretation…but nonetheless effective in its visuals.” Mega nodded.

“Well this is just fan-fricken-tastic.” ZF sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. “Any luck repairing Fridgy? We’ve gonna need everything we’ve got.”

“He’s hurt pretty bad.” Cajun shrugged. “We did what he could. But he wasn’t very willing to cooperate. We did lock him down there, after all.”

“Guys? I think there is someone watching us through the non-sensical window.” T_L spoke up. “And I think he’s got a radio.”

There was a brief moment of confusion as everyone looked out the random and illogical window to the outside world.

“SEIZE THAT GUY!” Mega yelled in an order. “And roll him in waffle batter until he begs for mercy! Spys and clowns are not allowed in our vicinity!”

“YES LEADER!”
