Meteor glanced at him, but yet again said nothing, which was probably welcomed by his older siblings.

It wasn't long before Vigor hung up the phone. He glanced at Timbre and also Emo was still totally freaking out over the "danger" he was currently amongst. "You guys are stupid."

Emo did not share this opinion. "It was for your own good and you know it!" He mostly whined rather than sounded in any way confident.

Punk stood up finally, but not without keeping a cautious eye on Vigor mostly. If he could have it his way he intended to leave...he just hoped Vigor wouldn't have a sudden persistence for him staying.

Impact agreed to that, not verbally, but with a nod of his head. He was mad Stygian was not replying, and that he couldn't see him.

"I hate this." he commented aloud.

Timbre scoffed at them and began making his way to the door.

"Screw you all." he growled.

"So why not give up then? You didn't seem concerned about him earlier, and honestly what would you do even if you found him? Chuck Meteor at him?"

Meteor didn't like that suggestion and twitched his helmet fins rapidly. That was mean!

"Maybe he went to find Sabotage and his brother."

"How polite." Vigor answered, clasping his hands together and resting his chin atop them on his desk. "Oh my dear brother I truly hope you don't intend to go crawling out there and embarrass yourself." Wasn't Vigor just so kind?

Emo had gone off to some random spot of the office to sulk. He didn't like any of siblings. Oh well, at least he'd got a chance to see the Shifter. >_>

"Why don't you just give up on life then? You've encountered one situation that didn't have a clear resolve. Why not give up Sable?" Impact growled. "I wasn't concerned with him then because he was right here."

He glanced at Meteor. "...and he'd make a mighty fine distraction."

Timbre paused for a moment, but continued.

"It's a reflection on you too." he muttered, propping himself up by the door so he could open it with one hand while still holding his neck with the other. "You freakin' jerk."

Meteor whimpered at the thought of being made a distraction for evil stygian. "I don't wannnnnaaa." He whined pathetically. "Can't we just go home? As long as you don't leave me by Comet or Onyx I'll be fine."

"I've encountered more than one!" Sable snapped defensively. "And it was your idea to give up to begin with anyway! I asked what we were gonna do and you said nothing! How was I supposed to work with that?"

"Not if you don't make it there. Or they never see you." Vigor replied in the same tone he had just used. It sounded more like he was discussing some sort of warranty or business offer than threatening, but all the same he was. "Trust me, Timbre, it would benefit you more to stay here than to...attempt to leave. There's no point in pretending otherwise..."


"Can I leave?" Punk asked.

Vigor shrugged. "Do whatever you please as long as you keep my own interest in mind." It was a subtle way of warning him not to tell anyone what had happened if he didn't wish to reap consequences.

Impact gave Meteor a little shake now, it wasn't much movement, just quick.

"Shut up Meteor." he snarled. "As for you..." he started, whipping his head to face Sable. "If you don't have a better plan I suggest you just shut up too."

Timbre listened to this, looked at his leg, felt his neck and sighed. He looked over at Vigor for a moment, well, he seemed serious. Crud. He looked back at his leg, anger building. Stupid Vigor. He turned the handle on the door defiantly.

Meteor sort of shut up, although he was still sulking and whining more quietly.

"Maybe I DO have a better plan!" Sable snapped back at him. He could be pretty confrontational when he wanted to. "Stop telling me what I have to do. I don't HAVE to do anything for you!"

Vigor really didn't appear concerned, he hadn't unclasped his hands or even looked ready to move towards him at all. "You don't want to do that." He warned a final time. "If you proceed...." He shrugged. "There's no point in telling you I suppose." He lifted his head and idly looked over one hand, picking at some invisible speck of lint.

"You're right." Impact told him, he wasn't going to deny that. "So why don't you tell your genius plan or leave me alone then? Either way, you win."

Impact continued where Sable had led him before, stopping, frustrated he wasn't seeing anything.

Timbre was done with threats, consequence or not. He was discouraged to see the door opened inward, fantastic. Grunting, he shoved his legs out of the way so he had barely enough room to open the door. The latch was unlocked, so the door swung freely when he grasped the side and swung it open. It hit his legs, making him wince at the broken one. Guess he hadn't moved himself far enough.

Sable gave Impact a long glare. He wanted to be that way? FINE. He was going home then. He didn't say anything but rather headed off in a wide arc away from Impact. He had no intentions of trying to track down Stygian or any sort of master plan. He was simply leaving them there. And Meteor? Well that stupid kid could just deal with the fact he was stuck with Impact for all he cared at the moment. If he turned out to be Stygian bait that suited him just fine.

Vigor of course found this amusing. He shook his head as he looked out the massive open panels behind him, his office was rather high up so there was quite a view of the surroundings through them. The tops of buildings and decorative trees alike, the congested traffic and during the less foggy times, the surrounding ocean. He appeared to have no interest in Timbre anymore, which was quite a deal true.

If the medics actually did show up he'd simply say the other recovered and went home. And if they didn't? Meh, he had security. They'd deal with him before he ventured down to the lower levels.

Impact's first mindset was one of 'good riddance'. However, as the moments passed his mind was changing. He started off where he had been directed by Sable earlier about where Stygian was, moving at a much faster pace than he had before. He had to change his own mind, move fast, be the master of his miiiind.

The door open now, Timbre glanced at Vigor. He was expecting him to do something, something bad, if he wasn't so mad he would be scared, that was for sure. He looked back at what he was doing as he pulled himself through the door, shoving it shut with one arm. From there he paused, listening. Was Vigor going to follow? He didn't hear any footsteps yet.

Well Stygian had not exactly stayed on a direct path at all. So he had wandered far from Sable's original description of location. He was really just wandering so his path of choice was sporadic and random. Mostly keeping out of sight for the majority of civilized beings.

He didn't know where he'd go nor why he was going anywhere--he mostly just didn't wanna be home where he would end up locked up again. That was bad. =|

Vigor sighed, not at TIMBRE obviously. More like this was OH so much work. He finally pressed a button on something nearby him that ten didn't bother to describe, rather casually and quietly announcing something about "escort" and then sat back with a grin.

Now he had his lovely security off to go find the weird crawling guy |D and "escort" him out. Hrrrm.

Impact paused at an intersection, but he didn't see anyone in any direction.

He sighed, glancing at Meteor.

"Well?" he asked, not sure what he expected in reply.

Timbre still sat outside the door, staring down the stairs with dismay. Well THIS was stupid. He let his neck go to use both hands to go down, but grasped it shortly after. Shoot, something was definitely wrong, though he was still in denial. He put his one good leg on the stair and used it to pull himself so his bottom was at the edge of the first step. He sighed.

Meteor looked around the intersection as well and then pointed in one of the random directions.

Forgive lame post for some reason I am beyond tired today.

The security people used the elevator instead of stairs, this way they could preserve their brittle legs. Ahem, or they were just lazy. Anyway as soon as the doors parted they began making a fast walk approach of all that was on that floor to find the devious being. It didn't take long and immediately one hollered at him to stop......yes to stop.

Impact scoffed with a small grin.

"You don't know where he is." he accused. "You've been laying down and probably spacing out the whole time."

Not that he had a better plan, but how could Meteor know?

Timbre looked at them from his 'perch' at the top of the stairs.

"Piss off!" (Should I censor that word? Not sure how you feel about it. xD) he yelled at them. "Kinda busy here...."

Meteor's helmet fins drooped down. Apparently he was useless now. "I wasn't spacing out the whole time..." He announced, more in defense than to prove he knew what he was doing. "He told me." He mumbled

Which very well may have been true. It'd totally have been in Stygian's character to play games with them aka intentionally be a jerk, and only communicate to some of them for whatever random reason had crossed his mind.

Security disregarded his busy status, ordering him to (of all things) stand up. They sure wanted a lot. They weren't being particularly quiet about it either.

It caused Vigor to be GRUMPY and mumble something about competence as he pushed his chair back and went to go see why they thought they needed to holler so much about a zyturri who was clearly not much of a threat.

Impact didn't look at him, but his mind was racing.

"Why are you holding out on me then?" he questioned calmly. "I am here carrying you after all...." he didn't specify where the destination was, mostly because it hopefully consisted of Stygian. However, his argument sounded good leaving that out, in his opinion.

Timbre watched them from his perch. Did they not see the broken leg? How about him clutching his neck? He continued glaring.

"You must from a budget Rent-A-Guard agency..." he remarked. "Or you're just stupid."

“Because you told me to shut up!” Meteor whined in reply to that. “I tried telling him that, but he just said it was your loss then. He didn’t wanna talk to you…He said you’re bossy and grouchy when you’re hungry too"

"I thought you were leaving." Vigor's less than thoughtful voice called from behind the guards as he pushed his way to the front--it was pretty easy. He was bigger than they were.

Although they seemed a bit confused, they stepped aside and let him.

"Well maybe I'm not always right, okay?" Impact defended himself, ignoring what Meteor had said so he could form an opinion about it first. Hmmm...he didn't like that, he thought Styg and he were on pretty good terms considering what had happened that day. "Fine." he growled, as if he were agreeing to an idea Meteor had. =)

(Wait how did Vigor get behind the guards? .0. Wouldn't he need to pass Timbre? Cause he was right outside Vigor's door. xD)

"Well I was TRYING." Timbre yelled, pointing to his position of....having not made it too far. "But someone broke my leg and probably my neck!"

"I know that." Meteor replied. About his brother not always being right--how kind.

(nooo =U he was by the stairs. The elevator is by Vigor's door. He doesn't use the stairs C| the stairs are further down the hall which I probably neglected to describe as of recent. And I dun mean a long ways |D )

Vigor gave him more or less a look as if he were stupid. "And our lovely medical knowledge obsessed friends were on their way to help you, but you insisted on leaving. So make up your mind. Are you leaving or are you staying? I can help you towards your destination, I'm sure." And by that he meant he could kick him down the stairs. His guards wouldn't care. They were paid quite hefty.

Impact smirked, before turning around abruptly.

"He can just go die then." he growled.

Timbre glared at Vigor, tilting his head to look up at him rather awkwardly.

"YEAH I'm leaving, but I don't need your help." he turned and started to scoot down the stairs with his one good leg. "You can just go kill something or lie to someone or fall out a window." he growled.

Brad's characters growl a lot. =.

Meteor blinked a couple times. His brother certainly could be weird but he really didn't mind his current decision. So he kept quiet.

"Yeaaah that wasn't exactly amongst the options though." Vigor replied with a subtle smile. "Your choice. Final take. If you don't choose I will."

Impact started off in a direction he didn't much care about, he didn't know where he was going, or why he was walking away. All he knew was that he had no more patience for the situation and would refuse to worry himself about it.

"I'm bringing you home." he stated, mostly to test Meteor's reaction.

Timbre's expression didn't change from one of disgust. "You asked if I was going or staying, I SAID I was staying...you said you could help...COULD...not that you HAD to. So I already answered how I wanted to answer."

Meteor didn't say anything about it. He just let his brother carry him. After all, home had been what he had wanted originally. Although if dumb COMET was there he wouldn't be very happy. Hopefully Comet was still out wandering around with his hurt leg somewhere. (Legs in this RP gosh =| XDD these turries just aren't built as well |D )

Vigor looked more confused by Timbre's answer than anything. He just stood there with his arms crossed for a moment. "Uh.....huh." He answered eventually. Sure whatever he wanted to think. So he'd get to kick down his brother after all. He was seriously right next to him now--Timbre wasn't hard to keep up with after all. "There's a wall somewhere around the first flight." He announced. "Try not to hit your head, hm?" He then decided to attempt to "help" his brother down the stairs by trying to give him a rather hard shove with his foot.

(Nope. =O I'm surprised...have we killed anyone yet?)

Impact was pleased Meteor didn't complain, because the longer he thought about it, the better of an idea it started to seem. He slowly altered his course to make a stop at their house a priority, though he had no plans to stay himself.

"What'd Stygian do to you anyway?" he asked, referring waaaaay back to when he and Sable and Comet first found him.

Timbre didn't know what Vigor was talking about until he felt the shove. He panicked and waved his arms to try and retain his balance, but it didn't work, he tumbled down a few stairs, bracing himself with both arms and his good leg a few steps down. He cried out, his neck was no longer being supported and his broken leg was bent awkwardly.

Meteor had to think about it a moment because the question had taken him by surprise, and further more he wasn't entirely sure what Stygian had been trying to do. "He...dropped me in black stuff head first...and, I couldn't really get out.......until he pulled me back out." His helmet fins perked up. "It was like drowning in thick black stuff!" Despite his raised helmet fins it was clear in this situation it was caused by surprise Stygian would do such a horrible thing to him.

None of the guards appeared particularly concerned for Timbre, they simply watched, as did Vigor who was in front of them all. Well Timbre sure hadn't GONE very far. How unamusing. He was making a fuss however so that made things slightly more interesting. He supposed the medics would probably arrive soon, which would likely be good, given the fact he had probably hurt Timbre moreso in helping him down the stairs. He simply smirked for now.

"So he pulled you out?" Impact questioned, hoping his suspicion concerning Stygian's morals would be reinforced. "That was nice....." he left the last bit hanging, to see what Meteor would make of it.

Timbre was surprised for only a moment that the guards hadn't helped, he slowly reached for his neck and winced as he held his head in a 'normal' position.

"I....never said....you hadn't won..." he spoke softly, still in great pain from his leg.

Meteor had nodded in response to Stygian pulling him out, but the part about him being nice? His nodding stopped abruptly right there. "If he were nice he wouldn't have tossed me in it to start with."

Vigor simply shook his head at Timbre's response. It sure took him a long time to catch onto things. Didn't he realize this was all simply about his attitude and no longer who had 'won'? He knew he had won already, that wasn't even amongst the questions. It was still good to hear him say it though.

He made no response, nor did he move to help or further injure him. His security guards dispersed when he nodded his head.

"No worries." He spoke at last. "Those are but minor details of the past." He glanced at the sleeve of his overcoat thingy and picked at some invisible lint. "Your friends from the medical center should be here soon."
