Figured I might as well post them here so I can manage them again since I lost my adminness
Race: Shapeshifter Hunter
Height: Somewhere a bit smaller than Wrath |D
Appearance: Black hair with orange streaks, yellow eyes. A matte black armor primarily. Usually wears a light gray coat with various blue stripes on it. (YES I was vague) Orange markings on face, one half of it glows.
Personality: He can be cruel, not an overly obvious and rage filled form of cruel though. He tends to keep very quiet and could even come across as reserved if it weren’t for his always dark expression.
His mannerisms tend to be most peculiar to the common being in a rather fear inducing way. He sees no need to move at a rapid pace and often will turn his head in a slow and gradual motion while just as delayed, allowing his expression to change to a smirk or some other variation.
He is well known to tilt his head down and eyes up to look at people rather than raising his head. These coupled with his usual silence in the dealings of others, makes him come across as rather intimidating.
He is a rather jealous creature too, and would not mind oh so much eliminating another if it satisfied him to do so. He holds no real morals of who is 'off limits' in injuring so any age is at risk.
Although not often wordsy, when he does speak he frequently has a monotone voice and quite intentionally uses more elegant speech patterns.
Vigor is a huge manipulator. Getting others to serve his purpose through words or by physical force. He's very bossy and demanding. He demands a serious amount of attention.
Vigor is a director of GEMI--Genetic Engineering and Manipulating International--in which an assortment of weaponry and such is created by genetics. He is the oldest of his various siblings.
Vigor has bountiful access to money. Vigor has an incredible dislike of younger kids and the majority of his other siblings. Part of why he insults the others so often is to ensure they don't believe they can amount to anything, and thus no competition for himself.
Race: Shapeshifter Hunter
Appearance: Wears a black jacket with tattered ends and gray torn pants that go into the tops of his boots. Black boots have white trim and white shoelaces that lead to nowhere. Wears a band on one leg with two spikes around it. Chains looped through belt. Wears a blue shirt under his jacket with two shades of blue. Also has blue wrist bands with spikes on them. Black spike collar around neck. Black helmet with small gold piercings. Has a mohawk in blue and black. Around his eyes he has dark black markings similar to that of Emo and Vengeance. The other black marking is a tattoo. Yellow eyes.
Personality: Punk's name describes him fairly well. He's quite the bully at school, completely unprovoked. Although he never really sets out to kill, he has no issue or concern with beating someone rather ruthlessly. However, unless they fall amongst his most hated list of zetraloids, he usually settles for tossing their stuff around and other nuisance activities of mocking one or embarrassing them.
He's the same way around his brothers. In particular he sets out to pick at Emo.
Regardless, he's rarely sensitive to anyone's concerns or opinions. Considering what others have to say never even crosses his mind. He tends to be rather sarcastic and undermining of everyone when he speaks.
With great reluctance he will listen to what his parents tell him, although not usually without some form of argument. His usual demeanor comes across as confident and somewhat conceited. He isn't always as confident as he pretends to be though.
He usually has enough sense not to get himself into a fight he doesn't have a fair chance at. He is confrontational and is usually the instigator of the many fights he gets himself into.
He's known to pick on people for a number of reasons, considering them weak, or wimpish in nature, disapproving of their likes, their appearance. Although not prejudice against all zetraloid types, he dislikes Stealth, Medics, Healers, and especially Hackers. He tends to hang out amongst Battle type zetraloids and other Shapeshifter Hunters.
Unlike his twin, FakieSwitch--often called Fakie for short--Punk is usually found attending school regularly, even getting there early and staying late. It's only to bully people though, which is his main hobby.
Every day he sets about destroying new decorations in the neighborhood as well as plants and anything else he can get away with. If at all possible he usually hogs the t.v. and couch alike, only to annoy everyone by blaring music.
If unable to get the t.v., he'll treat the family to his own version of singing anyway which mostly just consists of screaming to be annoying. In the rare times he's actually not yelling, he usually uses pencils or other acquired items to beat on various surfaces as if they were drums.
Punk generally doesn't associate with his twin, he could care less what he does as their interests vary incredibly.
Likes:Being in control, chocolate, music, most vegetables, drawing various forms of attention
Dislikes: Listening, rain
Name: FakieSwitch (Often referred to as Fakie)
Race: Shapeshifter Hunter Zetraloid
Appearance: Black hair, deep blue eyes, gold helmet fins/transmitters. Has green and white armor—feet are checkboarded. Usually has goggles on some kind of hat, and a plaid shirt with a yellow long sleeve beneath. His favorite colors are blue, yellow and black. Likes to keep a cheap set of headphones around his neck. He also has what appears to be freckles on his face.
Personality: Carefree and generally laid back. FakieSwitch hardly ever pays attention to detail and he definitely isn’t one to judge someone else based on appearance. He probably wouldn’t judge them based on anything actually. Most anyone walking down the street will get at least a wave or a ‘hi’ from him; he knows no enemy. He’s not afraid of being ridiculed or any of the sort, nor does he care who he’s associating with as he has no desire to be popular rather claiming that having fun is more worthwhile.
He enjoys a good challenge and is perfectly open to competition. Overall he’s a pretty honest, casual, average guy.
Background: FakieSwitch is Punk’s twin brother, although quite unlike him. Not particularly motivated to go to school, he skips class more often than the he attends. Instead, he hangs out skateboarding wherever. He also likes to hang out at the park after school hours and chat with the others there, eat hamburgers, hotdogs, or anything he can put an excessive amount of mustard on. He loves the rain and in particular trying to do random tricks and stunts in it. He’s not very good at what he does half the time and often ends up with injuries; this does not faze him however from repeating it again.
His future is of no concern to him; he tends to live in the moment.
Likes: Most fast food and very odd food ‘creations.’ Mustard, skateboarding, hanging out, rain, movies
Dislikes: Vegetables, lectures, reading
Race: Zetraloid Shapeshifter Hunter
Appearance: Has a light gray plate on the right of his face. He has dark black markings around his eyes, much like Vengeance but without the triangular tips. He right green eyes, and black hair with green stripes.
Armor is primarily white and black. Transmitter/helmet fins are black with glowing green spots. He wears a green shirt with black stripes on the sleeves as well as a green and black striped scarf. His pants are black with a hot pink stripe down the outside of each leg. They're also studded with somewhat dull tipped spikes. He wears four belts around his legs, sometimes their color varies, depending on what he picks up that day, they're rarely the same color though.
Personality: If one were to sum Emo up in a single word, complainer would work. Emo complains about everything. Whether it's positive or negative by nature it will become a subject of lengthy complaint. He's often rather quiet, when he does speak its usually in mumbled monotonous lines. It is suspected he is completely incapable of raising his voice. He claims the way he speaks is the clearest he's capable of due to insomnia--which isn't always true.
He rarely smiles or shows a lot of positive emotion. He's rather easy to make cry as well. If he ever feels inclined to actually start a conversation or join in on one he has a tendency to snap off with rather smart mouthed responses.
Despite his rather annoying life style and tendencies, he's also always willing to listen to the various issues his siblings are having currently, even if he has no response to them.
When not hampered beneath his dreary, depressing and boring personality, Emo can be tolerable as he's typically silent and non confrontational. Most of the time he'd much rather admit defeat than fight back--there are occasions where he changes his mind, they usually end in utter failure.
Background: Emo has a lot of issues in a lot of aspects of his life. For starters, he often borders on being a clean freak, not to mention his paranoia over where food comes from. He is often found in corners mumbling to himself about how horrible the world is and all being unfair.
He's rather sickly in general, some self inflicted, others just a rather poor state of health. Despite his height, he's considerably weak and described as somewhat of a twig--easily broken. He often carries around a book of some sort--always fictional.
He has no social life to speak of, nor any friends. He spends the majority of his life in his room, behind a shut door. He does have some talents although they are rarely shown to anyone--even his siblings as everything in his room remains put away and hidden.
Likes: Reading Fiction, video games, music, drawing landscapes
Dislikes: His brother Punk, going to school, coming out of his room
Appearance: Loner is usually wearing black. His shirt has rib like bone designs on the front and around the back, while the sleeves have a long white bone on the outside. The bottom is tattered and he wears a dark blue bandanna. His armor is black and white with gold helmet fins. The right eye is orange while the left is dark blue. As well he has a type of metal mask covering part of his face. He has relatively jagged hair that pokes out at the top of his helmet.
Personality: Loner tends to see everyone as an equal and doesn’t like the mistreatment of others regardless of any differences they may have. Despite having opposition to the general treatment of so many others, he has a hard time saying anything against these situations aside from when he gets small bouts of occasional bravery.
Loner is not very outspoken, and actually rather quiet. Making friends is no easy task for him and he often shies away from public situations if at all possible. Although he is more sociable generally speaking with his siblings, in public he becomes timid, uncertain and easily embarrassed. Regardless of how he comes across he usually has only the best interest of others in mind. He often is in deep thought, but answers only with shallow, surface layer replies.
Background: Some of his brothers, as well as others at school often refer to him as 'Creep' instead of Loner. This is such a common occurrence that he'll respond to either name. He's a rather secluded zetra and most have no idea what he spends his time doing on average. As a last resort he'll hang out behind a big warehouse where they keep cardboard boxes. It isn't a scenic place, but it's away from everyone else.
As a secondary hobby, he actually enjoys cooking by using various spices and creating interesting meals. He hardly has any encouragement to do so as usually his only company is Emo, who does nothing but complain of all his allergies.
He also has a pet goldfish named Fins that he has been known to both talk to about his problems and watch swim for hours. He loves his fish.
He prefers colder weather due to the fact he refuses to change into anything cooler than his current clothes.
Likes: Fish and other aquatic creatures, the rain, most food.
Dislikes: Crowds, sushi, hot summer days
Name: Volc “Volcano”
Race: Shapeshifter/Healer Cross
Appearance: Jet black armor with lava like trails intertwining in shades of red, orange and yellow. Helmet fins glow orange, as do rims of feet. He has a reddish glow that emits near his bracers. His hands glow orange. He has equally black hair that flops over his entire face to the right side with red highlights and tips. His eyes are red with a deep red orange glow and he has the common Shapeshifter stripes on his face in an orange/red color. The glow around him radiates in orange and gray hues, how wide the outer glow is around him ranges.
Personality: He’s generally quiet and observant of things around him. Curious to a fault though. He has an incredible trust of everyone, even complete strangers, especially if they’re older than him. He is a kind zetraloid—sometimes there are exceptions directed towards his siblings. He enjoys testing things he hears on TV or just about anything that anyone says to him. Incredibly gullible though. He can be timid from time to time when uncertain, but overall is not.
Background: Volc doesn’t have any amazing background. Nothing horrible has happened to him in his life as of yet. Nothing more than losing simple arguments. He’s overly curious of everything everyone is doing and often likes spying or trying it himself.
Likes: Most sweets, most food for that matter, dirt
Dislikes: Scary movies, the smell of fish
Race: Nightstrike/ Cesatim Desert Thorn
Appearance: If you can't see, he's a very light silver that reflects the blue glow he has of being a partial Nightstrike. His black face comes from the Nightstrike traits although the bone-spikes that protrude through his face skin are a trait of the Desert Thorn.
He wears the Xanunoz officer jacket, black with gold trim and a flap that covers one arm. Beneath that he has a gray shirt and gray camouflage scheme pants.
Personality: Kydrr is a generally understanding zetraloid with an incredible sense of loyalty. Sometimes that loyalty almost borders on stalkerish behavior although it is entirely unintentional. Much like his father was, he is prone to outburst of anger at seemingly unprovoked times. When he isn’t angry—which is more often than not—he is a gentle zetraloid although fiercely protective of his girlfriend. He values consistency and prefers to have a life that reflects such. He is an observant zetraloid and a quick learner, his confidence makes him a capable leader.
Background: He wears his father’s uniform jacket in his memory even though he himself has never been a part of the Xanunoz military. His mother was an Ethontumite Nightstrike while his father was raised in Xanunor despite being a Cesatim Desert Thorn. In such Kydrr inherited a variety of abnormal traits. He has a slight accent that pokes through every now and then—particularly if he’s trying to make a point.
Kydrr was raised going between Xanunor and Ethontum although remained in Xanunor most often. Before his father’s unfortunate end, he used to travel the continents with him. When his mother returned to Xanunor Kydrr remained in Ethontum due to a particular new love interest—Pikita.
He is now a part of the Blackfrost gang along with his girlfriend. Running around in a partial uniform amongst a gang is generally asking for trouble, but he refuses to take it off, and besides he can hold his own in a fight. Ethonetics is his secondary language but he knows it well enough to communicate fluently.
Likes: His girlfriend, exercising and generally challenging himself
Dislikes: Disrespect, too much rain, airports
Name: Delusion (Sometimes called Del)
Race: Tracker/ Shapeshifter Hunter cross
Appearance: Much like his father, he has long curved black horns that peek out from beneath his dull red hair. He has very pale skin and he's missing his right eye, now covered by a bandage that has pinned his hair down likewise (thus why it is longer on that side). He has a few visible scars remaining from the removal of his eye. His other eye has abyss eye--natural since creation. His pupil is yellow and his armor is matte black with the same dull red as his hair along the rubber shoe rim. He wears a collar of Shapeshifter Hunter fangs--something his father makes him where. The rest of his outfit is likewise, father required, and is a simply black with gold lining. He opts to carry around his membership pendant as opposed to wearing it.
Personality: Timid, anti-social, easily frightened and incredibly socially inept. Although he doesn't like to disagree with others, he doesn't understand a lot of what is said and simply nods along with it. He tends to take after his Tracker half and is incredibly reclusive, shying away from even the people he's known all his life. He's very uncertain about making decisions for himself. He is very forgiving and good at listening to the concerns of others.
Background: Delusion has always lived in The Circle's cavern with his father, Revenant. He has been told stories of the evil spirits that lay in wait in the forest just beyond the cavern who would drag his soul to a land of eternal torment. Although unsure if he believes this or not, Delusion has been too horrified to even set one foot into the world outside.
His right eye is missing due to his father's decision to offer it to the spirits as a peace atonement on behalf of his quarreling flock of followers. Since then, Delusion has been worried any time there is an argument.
His name, Delusion was changed from his previous acquired name--a breach of etiquette in the world of zetraloids. His father went through with the idea anyway though, claiming his son was delusional and unable to see the way of truth.
Recently he has gotten enough courage to leave his home, mostly in fear that his father is going to sacrifice him to the creepy spirits he worships. It has thus far been a not so great experience for him.
His likes and dislikes are currently undeveloped and unknown to him. He spends most of his time napping or drawing patterns on the floors of the cave.
Race: Shapeshifter Hunter Zetraloid
Appearance: Burnt orangeish hair with pumpkin orange helmet fins. He wears a jacket of sorts, orange with black jagged tips and a few stripes. Above that he has a wrap around his neck, a tip of which pokes out in a tiny winglike way. He also wears a red shirt with black patterns on it, a black leather belt punctured by various animal teeth and black pants. His feet are pumpkin orange and black striped with a dark gray trim. Claw like toes appear on the front. Like most Hunters he has a claw and fangs. His helmet fins are black, eyes teal, and on the left of his face rests two long black stripes. He has a generally thin build for a Hunter.
Personality: Bluntly honest, usually speaks his mind at the worst possible times. Hate is very impulsive by nature and doesn't like to give a lot of thought to planning, claiming it's too boring. He's a very energetic Hunter, although he's just as happy hunting a fly in the house as he is a zetraloid.
Despite his usual tough attitude he has a great fear of being rejected, thus he thrives on attention and will do most anything to win the approval of another. As long as his family's happy that's all that matters to him--and no not in a sweet way. It merely means that it comes at the expense of others and that is fine wit him. Hate can be rather immature at times.
When dealing with others he usually comes across as confident, independent and rather cruel. It is mostly for show, although when directed at others, he is perfectly capable of following through with what he displays.
Background: Raised with his brother Sabotage, Hate follows the same line of work as him and their mother. He claims to be a cannibal even though nothing he has done has suggested such. He also thinks scaring the various citizens of their city to be a great game.
Even though he is most often the cause of fights between himself and Sabotage, he doesn't have any purpose in doing such. Its often just for mere entertainment.
He is most often seen in the company of Sabotage as he doesn't like doing things alone. He will usually follow the lead of others rather than take his own initiative.
Likes: Chocolate (especially dark), most food, cloudy days
Dislikes: Being alone, being made fun of, rejection
Like most Shapeshifter Hunters he is a natural born fighter, quite capable of holding his own in most circumstances. He may attack with his claw although he is far less inclined to than many Hunters. He has been known to bite others--Sabotage has speculated that this is due to his claims of being a cannibal.
He's a strong zetraloid, another common trait of Hunters and like most Hunters prefers to fight close range in hand to hand combat.
Name: Sabotage (Often called Sabe)
Race: Zetraloid Shapeshifter Hunter
Appearance He wears all black with various straps and belts atop it. Black trench coat, black pants, black shirt, blacks traps. Black collar as well actually. The only thing he wears that isn't black is the glowing head necklace that is a symbol of being a part of The Circle.
He has black hair and a single black stripe that trails beneath his left eye in a way that resembles the trail a tear would fall. His eyes are light blue, as are his helmet fins. Beneath his clothes, his armor is a mixture of light blues, blacks and grays.
He has the common Shapeshifter Hunter claw, as well as fangs.
Personality: Quiet but caring. He actually has a decent sense of humor and enjoys the company of Hate. Calm, and level headed, Sabotage is smart, and perhaps even a tad bit secretive, even though he prefers not to keep things from his siblings.
He tends to do everything in moderation, whether it is eating, planning, having fun, or anything else. His life is relatively scheduled of his own accord. Despite his default appearance of indifference, Sabotage is rather affectionate. When confronted or accused, he becomes very defensive and anti-social. He may very well ignore his family and come across as grumpy and snappy in such cases.
One thing for sure he is rather desensitized to death over all, this is partially just a trait of Hunters, but also due to the things he is involved with.
Background: Raised alongside Hate, Sabotage has learned much the same things he has. Both with assistance in murder and other generally shady smuggling business. It by no means makes him completely heartless though. Between he and Hate, he will generally take on the role of leader. He doesn’t demand it, but his methods of doing things are usually safest.
He seems like a fairly normal guy by day. As normal as someone in all black is that would be. But that’s only what meets the eye. Yes, he has a job by day--a not so honorable one at that. Night? Sure sleep is important, that’s afternoon. Night is a realm of its own. A place of darkness, a place of horrors. Most know nothing of his night time schedule. Not even his own brother.
He’s a part of a cult that remains pretty much secret to society. They have a rather odd set of beliefs and they also like to bring in other zetraloids as sacrifices to their cause. These zetraloids are disposed of in a variety of…most unusual ways.
Sabotage holds the status of being an “Arranger.” It sounds somewhat peaceful but do not be fooled. Arranger is merely a name for the one who arranges the dead sacrifices, piece by piece or whatever he finds sufficient in ‘beautiful’ ways to appease their cult leader.
As far as his 'normal' life with his family goes, he's very close to Hate and those related to him in general.
Likes: Tropical fruit, spring, plants, ponds, lakes etc.
Dislikes: Honey, sour candy, humans' cars
Name: Keraunos Storm (Simply called "Storm' )
Age: A month shy of thirteen
Race: Aquynese Shapeshifter
Appearance: His base color is white, just like all shifters. His name is written on his arm and ankle braces as well as the protective bar around his middle. Actually the way it's set up it reads "Storm Keraunos Shift 799."
One eye is blue while the other is pink. He has electric shaped face patterns of likewise color. His body glows in mostly a dark blue but also bits of pink here and there. Armor designs and glow shape alike are like electricity and lightning. He has 'split foot' a term that is applied to some of the foreign zetraloid designs in which the foot is split in two halves that allow for better traction and balance.
He has light blue spots going down the outer sides of his legs and two brown straps on each leg that meet at his center band then branch off up until his chest armor. The rest of his armor is a light gray with blue lightning strikes.
Personality: Storm is Loyal, energetic, enthusiastic and generally optimistic. He does more by action than words and is compliant, sweet and gentle. From time to time he can be a bit overly serious and has a tendency to worry about the world in general. He's usually willing to try new things if given encouragement but doesn't like arguing or confrontation. He's also very flinchy.
Storm is quite a dreamer--suspected its what keeps him sane. If faced with facts he doesn't like, he tries to pretend they don't exist and replaces them with the things he likes from his little dreamworld. He's also a quick learner, although keeping his attention on something is not easy.
Background: Raised by Artery along with other shifters. He has had a somewhat secluded life at least from freedom. Regardless, he's fairly content, and would like to go on an adventure in the world. He forever sets up plans to save the world--from what is unclear--even though he can't even get himself away from Artery.
Notably he is quite destined not to save the world but rather get sold to a Shapeshifter Hunter who is too rich to have to go hunt shifters down properly. Vigor that is.
Other Distinguishing Notes
Many zetraloids are specialized in one way or another. Storm is fast, and can make his glow into second long flashes of light that can somewhat blind.
Despite his electrical appearance, it wouldn't be hazardous to touch him at all.
He's quick, and has excellent balance on all terrain.
Likes: Water, most any action figure or interesting shaped object, running, jumping, helping, acrobatics
Dislikes: Yelling, arguments, displeasing someone, most vegetables
Age: UNKNOWN ( c: )
Height: Something magical. AHEM. I dunno, but he's tall. I see no need to figure it out |D He's just an RP character.
Appearance: What you see basically, red hair that's fairly long, his helmet fins look a lot like horns. He's got the fairly common 'abyss eye' in both eyes that many zetraloids have. Notably the weird tunneling marks on his face are not actually holes--they are indeed intended to look as such, but they're just surface layer markings. Totally intended to give the illusion of tunnel...through skin stuff. I like to call it burrowing worm tunnels |D
Also notably, the thing he wears around his neck has the fangs of Shapeshifter Hunters. No one particularly knows WHY he likes wearing fangs of them, because he refuses to tell anyone.
Personality: He's completely obsessed with himself, but not really in the way of showing off so much. He does believe he's probably the holiest thing ever to exist. He's mostly a manipulator, with his own best interest in mind, using strategic ideas and ideals to get what he wants from others.
He likes to talk about people being disloyal a lot and how he's on the search for the disloyal amidst his own group. He rather likes attention. |D
Background: He is leader of a cult (of course he doesn't call it that) that has a decent sized group of zetraloids who meet in a cavern beyond the city. That's where he lives. He believes he is some kind of mediator between 'higher powers' as he calls them, and the common zetraloid. He also insists that these 'higher powers' told him to create The Circle. The cult basically has a no one ever leaves alive type policy. He claims to watch over 'the flock' and do only things for their very best interest, but his entire set of morals are so twisted that it makes him more like a slightly psychotic dictator.
Peppermint is another member of the cult.. Anyway, he's a very nice zetraloid really. Has horrible house cleaning habits though, lets everything pile up and just sort of hops over it and what not. He doesn't like the heat for obvious reasons and is more energetic the colder it is. Likewise the warmer it gets the less he moves.
He's not judgmental in the least. He can be impatient if people keep him waiting but only in a lighthearted sense.
Appearance: Hair in three shades of colors, black at the center, tapering into a lighter blue and followed by a darker blue then returning back to black at its tips. Helmet fins resemble upside down check marks, each with three glowing circles. His eyes are an icy blue. He has gray transmitters and as common amongst Nightstrikes, a relatively solid black face. The lower right portion of his face has several lines, almost resembling a bad scar that glow a bright bluish white. A relatively abnormal—although not unheard of—Nightstrike trait he possesses is a glowing blue tongue. It is not a particularly favorable trait as most are completely unable to dim the glow of a tongue as they would eyes and armor. He wears a dark brown trenchcoat-like jacket—lightweight, with deep blue markings on it. His shirt and pants are both black although his shirt has a couple shades of gray. His shoe trim is different per foot. One being brown, the other gray. Both are topped by gray. His gloves are an off color gray, reaching only to the beginning of his fingers.
Personality: Sable comes across as fickle in most cases, and on the opposite side of everyone else. His persistence in finding the faults of his siblings is far from appreciated and his generally scornful approach in doing such has labeled him a troublemaker and disrupter of peace. In reality, it isn’t his goal to cause trouble for his siblings, but rather to perfect them as a whole. He’s quite a perfectionist and known well for his persistent and consistent scolding of both himself and his siblings. It is ultimately his goal to be what his parents want from them—the very best—although, with their less than encouraging upbringing, that goal has been stretched far beyond a normal standard, leaving Sable in a consistent and perhaps obsessed pursuit of his parents’ approval. Sable can be impatient and not so fun to be around, but all the same, he’s loyal to his family and cause. He’d sacrifice himself to achieve their goals if need be.
Background: Sable doesn’t really have many hobbies or other activities seeing as he dedicates himself to consistently being better than what he currently is. His life is basically work oriented, and he has no friends outside the family. He believes they would only complicate things anyway. In such he’s a little less than normal by most people’s standards, although he knows how to keep a perfectly good business relationship going.
Fighting Style: Although Sable prefers long range take downs—preferably with some type of gun-based weapon, his second preference is to stay on defense. He tends to fight more strategically like his father. He is quite efficient with knife fighting, whether lethal or nonlethal. He’s fairly good at dodging, but not so great at hand to hand without a weapon.
Likes: Recognition of progress and achievements, opportunities to prove himself successful, driving,
Dislikes: Being yelled at, family forgetting his name, jokes involving either his tongue or face
Appearance: Relatively shiny gray armor. Rounded helmet fins with a glowing heart in each. Pink visor, white wavy hair with black tips reaching to about shoulder level and a bit below in places. Mercury has the typical multi colored face common amongst Nightstrikes. He wears a red shirt with a light gray jacket over the top. The jacket has long tattered sleeves that hide his hands if at his sides, trim of jacket around waist and wrists is a darker shade of gray. Also wears dark gray pants. Shoe trim of right foot is black, the other is white.
Personality: Mercury is quite easily considered a big baby. With emotions that are easily swayed about by subtle comments and insults from his siblings. If left alone, he typically has a joyful although quiet personality. Interestingly enough, he’s really not all that concerned with the fact he looks a lot more like a girl than he does a guy. Mercury is not one to be swayed by peer pressure of others and definitely has his own unique approach to life. He hums a lot, and often seems to be in his own little world.
Background: Not a very skilled Nightstrike yet at all. Most of his siblings believe he never will be either. If he does have any saving grace though, he does listen attentively, even if he doesn’t understand what is being asked of him. He’s quite flexible too, at least offering a couple positive traits for the family’s line of work. Mercury is often found tagging along with another of his siblings, rarely staying anywhere completely alone. He likes to bring small trees in planters into his room, caring for them until they're large enough to plant outside.
Likes: Trees, plants in general, his siblings
Dislikes: Violence, loud music, most bugs
Appearance: Onyx takes after his mother more than his father in terms of appearance. His scheme is chaotic, patterns not matching in any given location. Notably he is shades of grays and blacks with minor highlights of white. His hair is gray, and face a split between a matte black and white. His eyes glow an icy blue although only one us usually visible peeking from beneath his hair. His large helmet fins are incapable of remaining up at the same time.
Personality: Onyx is confident, although generally a bit too rash. He can be quite outspoken depending on how he feels at the moment. Onyx prefers action over planning any day and does best when under the command of someone else, rather than operating as a solo agent. When off on a tangent, he often forgets to mind his surroundings, leading to many mistakes and complications. Onyx can be lazy if he sees no point to what he’s been asked or told to do, often settling for napping instead. As is the case with most sentient creatures, Onyx does have a more caring side although it only seems to show during times of great tragedy or stress. His usual solution to problems that arise is to preoccupy his mind with other things. Not fully thinking things through is his most common error. Like most of his older siblings, he is dedicated to work, although he’s not very efficient as help. To some extent he doesn’t mind making his parents upset, or anyone else for that matter. His primarily concern is typically himself.
Background: Sable’s twin, Onyx often hangs out around his brother with the intention of bothering the other. Sable and Onyx don’t get along well at all as Onyx drives the other absolutely insane. Despite his generally dark scheme and nature as a Nightstrike to hide well amidst darkness, Onyx often fails at such a task. His patience is far too low to keep quiet and still with a few exceptions. He does try though and works best alongside Comet. Comet is essentially his role model even though he fails miserably at mimicking him. Onyx makes it a part of his daily routine to pick on his younger siblings.
Even when not fighting Onyx is fairly rough with his siblings. Amidst fighting, his style has yet to be defined. In such he has no true fall back plan. He knows some kicks learned from observing Comet and a few take downs as well. Aside from those, he often fights with more or less street fight tactics.
Likes: Picking on siblings, being right, appearing ‘cool,’ showing off, sarcasm
Dislikes: Working with younger siblings, all nuts
Appearance: Wears a long jacket with unmatching patterns. Mostly gray and purple in color. His helmet is a chaotic mess of designs and colors, all glowing characteristically of a Nightstrike. His face has a couple assorted patterns likewise and he has an orange visor. His hair is rather long, reaching down to just above his knees at its longest tips. It has neon green and orange highlights. Eye color beneath the visor is orange and purple. He has long darkish black strands that hide in his hair taking on the appearance of it, only tipped by glowing blue instead. Despite their appearance, they’re actually alive—a partial mutation.
Personality: Comet isn’t one to get excited about anything. He typically has the same disinterested stare. He doesn’t care if his siblings or family are getting hurt, has no regard for others and often won’t help them even if asked. It’s assumed he’s got quite the bad attitude as a whole. Aside from the fact he’s a skilled fighter, he has no real redeeming traits in terms of personality to the common person. On working terms, he is at least persistent, straightforward, and reliable to get a job done. He doesn’t however offer any decent company. Comet won’t take a lot of sarcasm from his siblings, rather inclined to knock them off their feet opposed to arguing back. He has no fear in confrontation and his confidence is unmatched. Most consider him disconnected from the world in any sense of emotion. Although unproven, it could have a connection to the partially formed mutation.
Background: Some might accuse Comet of being jealous, maybe not wanting to share credit with others. Anyone who lives with him should know that’s incorrect though. He doesn’t seem to actually care what anyone’s opinion of him is. Just to get the job done. From time to time he’ll spare a few to teach Onyx something new, although that often goes horribly wrong. It could be easily assumed Comet must be an absolutely miserable zetraloid beneath all his hardened outer layers. He has made no attempt at having friends or level relations with his own family, leaving him to be willingly alone, only living amongst the others but not socializing with them. In particular he has a problem with his older brother, Stygian, and although he often doesn’t go out of his way to start trouble, has on occasion. Either way he still managed his job of abductions and assassinations with relative ease—the general family business as Nightstrikes do best.
He tends to keep the fact he has living tentacle things that come down from the base of his head a secret, sometimes even tying the flailing things together so that they don’t show. If he actually gets close to someone, it’s considerably not a kind gesture but probably more of a consideration to choke one to death with them. They also get hot at their tips, capable of burns if held against something long enough. Once again, no one is certain but this may be a partial form of a Living Virus which could explain some of his attitude.
Comet has excellent balance, not always even bothering to pull his hands out of his pockets. Such a tactic will most likely make him susceptible to obtaining a back injury eventually. For fighting, he usually uses his long legs to his advantage in a variety of kicks. It is rare that he uses his hands for any real fighting aside from a knife on occasion. He does carry a couple knives, usually hidden away and unused. At a close range he has used the stringy tentacle virus manifestations to get a good grip around his target’s neck and proceeded to burn a hole through their throat.
Likes: Practice battling alone, standing outside and watching the various happenings, cool weather
Dislikes: Being forced to work with the others, sun without shade, animals, kids, Stygian
Race: Nightstrike zetraloid
Appearance: Meteor’s armor is primarily white with orange trim. His hair is a bright red, tipped by black. Helmet fins are orange with yellow markings and black tips. His face has the oft common trait of split color. He wears dark blackish-gray pants, a jet black vest and an orange shirt with a thick red stripe and a thinner yellow one. His eyes glow red.
Personality: Probably best known his lack of concern for what he’s saying. He’ll typically opt to say whatever he wishes regardless of the consequences it might bring. It’s not due to him being bold as much as it is his persistence of being right—most likely a trait learned from Sable. He’s somewhat hyper and can find interest and entertainment in most unusual ways. He has a hard time staying on task without someone there reminding him, or watching until he finishes. Either way, he’s more friendly than a lot of his siblings. From time to time, his mood flips from his hyper to an entirely quiet and more serious one.
Background: Like the rest of his family he’s been trained for mercenary work—not that he’s limited to that. He hasn’t entirely learned to follow through with things like his older siblings have, but he does try, at least for awhile. He usually ends up side tracked before completing his work though. Meteor doesn’t really have many quarrels with his siblings other than immediate results from the dumb things he says. He’s still very much a kid in mindset, and thus isn’t very reliable or consistent. He’d much rather play games with his siblings than hunt individuals down. Regardless now days he’ll settle for at least trying, since it seems to be the only way to get anyone’s attention. As a less important note, he tends to decorate his room with bright posters on otherwise black walls along with wrapping barbed wire around things both in and out of his room—it’s something the others don’t really appreciate.
Likes: Bright colors, most anything with a lot of flavor, continually finding new things to try/do, barbed wire
Dislikes: Repetition, being pushed around by older siblings
Although he doesn’t have a true “style” to how he fights yet, he often ends up helping alongside someone else opposed to doing it himself. He tends to use himself as a restraint of sorts, in such; he mostly clings to the other until they end up tripping or falling. Of course he doesn’t really know what to do after achieving that much. Definitely still in training. He doesn’t know how to use knives or guns or anything like that. He does like to use a type of barbed wire though if he happens to remember some.
Race: Nightstrike zetraloid
Appearance: Solid black from head to foot, hair and everything follows the same exact shade. The only exceptions are his glowing red eyes and the very tips of his helmet fins. He has eight pointed helmet fins varying in length and his body is mutated at random as it goes along. He also has a dark, hazy aura of black around himself. His hair covers his entire face down to the center of his chest. It has been described as a “mop” of hair. The longest portions of it reach all the way to his waist.
Personality: Many would describe Stygian as strange and flat out creepy. To some extent he is—his inability to speak adding to the show. His personality is very split. Most often, unless provoked, it is a dull and mellow, relatively level, monotonous drag. Almost as if he weren’t a living being at all. Silent, compliant, there. In all reality he’s incredibly lonely and in lack of the social relations he had previously. He can be rather affectionate towards certain people and has an eagerness to please. On the contrary though, he can be forceful and demanding, completely ignoring what others have to say and ultimately violent and abusive. It’s these characteristics that oft keep him locked up. He himself regrets the snaps in his personality although he can’t really control them even if he were to want to. To the few he attempts to keep close to he’s often overbearing, overprotective and overall creepy just by his persistence of trying to make everything perfect. Not to mention his unwillingness to take no for an answer.
Background: Stygian is not a normal zetraloid by any means. He previously had a secondary Virus coexisting with him, but it ended up becoming a permanent inhabitant, unable to take over in their normal parasitic way but also unable to leave. Ever since then it manifested itself more visibly on him, altering his appearance entirely. He can no longer speak as black film covers his mouth and his hair is impossible to keep at a length he can see through. (Note this was not due intentionally by the Virus, it was a failure to win by either party) To communicate, Stygian must use transmitters, thus he can only speak to zetraloids and not humans. Even with such he’s still said to sound kind of raspy, gurgly and almost otherworldly with the faintest touches of a normal voice echoing in the back. He spends a large portion of his time alone in his room, stuck in an arm binder to prevent him from hurting anyone too significantly. Stygian knows he’s dangerous to others at times, although he doesn’t usually mean to be. He’s often in his own world of mental torment.
Also noteworthy, although his tentacles are usually used for harm, he has also been known to use them simply as other hands to carry things or even give hugs. All the same he also uses them to force people to stay beside him and keep him company which usually isn’t too welcomed. He has enough of them to wrap around one like a nearly all incasing cocoon.
Stygian is usually locked up rendering him incapable of battle, but when he has the opportunity, he has many methods. Most common is just using his size and reach to his advantage. He has the ability to feel living and non living items around him without actually touching them—a sense that has become rather acute due to his lack of eyesight through thick hair. In such, he’s usually fighting completely blind. Depending on what kind of battle he engages in, he may at times blend into the color of his aura and extend it out to make himself less easy to attack. He may also purposely injure himself to let his tainted black plasma drain. He can harden it and use it as jagged weapons attached to his own body. They do break off after a few hits, but any puncture or scrape from such plasma will fill the other’s with a bacteria that likewise will taint its plasma. This can kill a zetraloid who doesn’t get proper medical attention to cure it. Other times he grabs a hold of his targets, pulling them close and rolling with them; this is typically if he’s knocked to the ground. In such he ends up above them with his leg armor stabbed into them. Finally, he also uses the many tentacles he has to toss zetraloids around like they’re nothing, sometimes he also uses them like a boa constrictor uses its body.
His likes and dislikes are unknown as he hasn’t spoken of such in recent years.
