Spiral was putting away his stuff. Amazing I know.

Phone was already ringing again.
Anyway Writhe was outside and had totally already climbed Spiral's gate and was kind of heading off =U

Spiral...Y U NO STAY.

Whiskey answered the phone again, this time with a bit of irritation.

"Hello?" he more demanded than asked. Who kept calling? Where was dumb Writhe? >=.

Tex continued to take steps, yessss this was working well. She glanced back at Spiral putting his stuff away. "You um...want help?" she asked.

Lalala Writhe was off on adventure, running about like a maniac. Well not a complete maniac but he was getting further away. Dumby. He'd die in two weeks =| That's what Spiral said. If he didn't get the other wire things fixed.

"Heeeeey." Came the really drawn out reply, "This thing actually does work."


Spiral shook his head, "Oh no, its quite fine, you should probably go home and rest." His helmet fins twitched, "I'm not kicking you out by the way."

Whiskey's eyes darted around...the voice, what was the voice? His eyes narrowed.

"Mr Vengeance." he stated, almost nodding as a reflex. "You doubted it would work?"

Tex thought about this, oh yeah, going home. Her Dad will be most pleased.

"Yeah I guess." she said. She paused in the doorway. "How much do I owe you?" she asked. She knew Spiral would probably be stubborn, but dang it she'd feel better if she could pay him.

"Umm yeah basically." He replied, "So I thought I'd test it. Guess I was wrong. Hey you know you're a jerk right? Anyway I have something for you." LIKE A FIST IN HIS FACE. Ahem no he didn't announce what he had.

Writhe was off running through town like a maniac looking like whiskey.

"Oh no, no, no." Spiral insisted, "Free."

Whiskey basically listened, it wasn't worth it to argue, and he would admit he WAS a jerk, just not that he intended to be.

"Oh." he said, not having any enthusiasm for this possible gift Veng had. He was TIRED. "So do you need me or what?" he asked.

Tex shook her head.

"Come on....don't make this difficult now...I want to pay, you gotta make a living somehow right?"

She smiled at him, as if he had agreed.

"Yeah. Basically. I guess." Veng answered. It was hard to tell what kind of mood he was in but hey he hadn't killed himself =)

OH and Writhe wasn't like epic afraid of Whiskey randomly or anything so he'd probably come back eventually.

"My job." Spiral stated, "At the hospital. Really, no payment needed. It didn't take much at all."

Whiskey sighed internally. No, no he couldn't go running around now. He was TIRED dang it.

"When?" he asked in a very low tone.


Tex sighed, shaking her head. "Allllright, guess I'll need to put money in your mailbox then." she threatened.

"Nowish...?" Vengeance replied in more of a question than any difinitive answer, "Or like...within a half hour at least." For not doing anything he sure had time schedules =|
"You can bring your girlfriend if you want." He added. He meant Tex >_> apparently both he and Rage had decided that was Whiskey's girlfriend.

"Nooo you keep it. I'm fine, look." He indicated his house, "Save it. Money's not always easy to come by for the zetraloid population."

Whiskey was staring off as he spoke, his mind not on his surroundings but on the call.

"What girlfriend?" he asked, once again in a low, almost threatening tone. He glanced at the time, a half hour? Why was whatever Veng had time sensitive?

Tex waited for Spiral to finish speaking before she replied, though she really was disregarding what he said. "I do have SOME money." she told him. "And I didn't earn it to keep it forever."

"The green one." Veng answered quite simply, "Well green and other colors anyway. But uhh yeah just be here. Bye." He hung up the phone. How polite.

"You and your friend." Spiral stated, with something close to a half smile, "Both pretty stubborn aren't ya? I'm not taking your money."

Whiskey flicked his phone shut, pretty much ignoring Veng's comments. She wasn't his girlfriend, they only worked together was all. As far as he knew Tex didn't like him much anyway.

Tex nodded to Spiral. "Well, I guess we are!" she admitted. "But you and...yourself...you're almost too generous, don't you think?"

Writhe was returning now, how convenient. In one hand he had a hamburger, the other, a soda. He probably hadn't bought it considering he hadn't had any money with him. Regardless he seemed quite pleased as he walked along his way, still with Whiskey's appearance.

"Too generous? Not a bad thing to be known by." Spiral shrugged, although he was about ready to give up here. He didn't really like arguing and wasn't sure how long Tex would take this thing.

Whiskey nodded to Writhe, he tried to seem unphased by his return, but he was actually rather pleased. He took out his flask, he needed a drink before he went to see Veng.

He did take a drink, then glanced at Writhe as he savored the swallow. Hmmm...he would probably need to take him with.

Tex thought about this for a moment. "No, not a bad thing to be known by, but I certainly don't want to be known as the person who couldn't spare a dime when the most generous person ever helped them."

Writhe tried to imitate this action with his soda. >_> He had taken the lid off. It didn't go very well. He more like flung it on his face since he had held it up a bit too enthusiastically. So now he looked like a very surprised version of Whiskey with soda dripping down his face. It wasn't orange. Sorry Whiskey =c not your soda type.

Spiral shook his head, that sounded kind of funny. "Alright then. You pay me. Hmm..twenty." Yes that was way low but that was his goal.

How did you remember that? xDD Nice.

Whiskey smirked. "Not a bad effort." he said. "A little too excited, eh?"

He took another drink himself, huh, he'd never seen himself with pop all over his face before.

Tex looked at him, was he serious? That little? "Hm....forty." she bargained.

i dunno why I remembered ._.

Writhe nodded his head and kind of tried to wipe off the soda somewhat anyway >_> he settled on using the hamburger to do so. It actually worked oddly enough.


"Thirty." Spiral said back. Gosh they sounded like they were doing something illegal. =| Oh hey wait =D they were ^.^ Lol not really I guess. But ANYWAY.

xD You make it sound like you remembering is a bad thing.

Whiskey savored the swallow again, putting his hands together to grasp the flask tightly, he looked at the floor.

"We gotta go see a friend of ours." he stated.


Tex nodded. "Better." she admitted. "I'll um...send it or bring it over or something, I don't have anything on me really." she patted herself down, just to make sure....nope! =)

Writhe wanted to ask what friend. But he had no voice. So he just kind of frowned, then nodded. Meh, maybe he'd remember them.



SCAMMER. Ahem. "Sure that's fine. Either works." Spiral seemed content he had at least..sort of been in the decision.

Whiskey stood up, not wanting to do this at all.

"Follow me." he instructed. He hadn't yet remembered that Writhe had wanted to kill Veng....until now. His pace suddenly slowed as he remembered this, would Veng snap him out of it? "He um....you might recognize him." Whiskey stated.

Tex smiled. "Alright then." he replied, turning to leave again. "Thanks...." she paused, what was his name? Whiskey said it like once. "What's your name?" she asked, turning to face him again.

Oh that'd be good! He wanted to start recognizing people. He nodded contently, very much liking this idea. But yeah didn't bother changing back to his normal appearance. He still looked like Whiskey. c:

Spiral glanced up, he had been off in lalalala land thought. He had never gotten to eat the night before OR today yet. "Hm? Oh, Spiral. And you're welcome."

Whiskey continued on. "You might not want to look like me." he warned. "If his brother his there, he likes to....attack me."

He did sort of think Rage was there, he knew Veng didn't like him so it made sense he would invite Rage over, then call Whiskey.

"Spiral." Tex repeated. "Doctor Spiral...." she was content with this. She nodded and turned around, heading out of the room.

XDD so true.

Writhe looked confused by this. Why were they friends if he liked attacking them? >=. Either way he turned back to his default appearance YES right out there in the middle of sight by anyone who happened to be looking. Not that anyone was.

Spiral just smiled, for he was polite. c:

Whiskey nodded. "Probably a good thing." he said, that and it wasn't so weird having NOT twins walking along, than twins with the same battle damage.

Whiskey never put his flask away, he was drinking as they walked. He had a feeling there would be action here, sometime, either by Writhe snapping out of it, Rage or an uncontrollable Veng, he just had a feeling and he wanted to be prepared....drinking was obviously perfect. =)

Writhe wanted to go faster. He was kind impatient. He wanted to meet the person who he should know.
