LZ was looking for what he had seen, he did find it in a dog training book. "HEY I FO-" he looked around, he didn't see Veng anywhere. "Mister?" he asked, looking for him in the aisles. He saw a trail of mud and water and beamed. He could finally play detective!

He leaned down looking at the trail pretending he was holding a magnifying glass.

"I say." he said, faking an accent horribly. "What have we here?" he continued to follow it.

Vengeance could hear him and sighed. Not AGAIN. Well then! He'd find a better way to.....AHA that's what he needed! He's wandered over to the bakery area of the store and distinctly remembered those things called DOUGHNUTS that he thought looked so disgusting.

LZ continued along at a normal pace for him. He continued holding the magnifying glass even when he looked up to try and spot Veng.

"Where is the crazy man." he said to himself, even though it was a question he didn't ask it like one. He switched his tone, obviously trying to be another person with the detective.

"I bet he went home." He scowled at his pretend character. "Don't be so stupid." he said. He smiled and began to follow the trail again.

Vengeance didn't really want to touch those GROSS things. So he found something else too. It wasn't the first time he'd stole stuff. If the people felt brave enough to question him when he left he could always lose the police they liked to call, it wasn't that hard. Besides, it was just stupid doughnuts anyway. He had no clue which kind qualified as good so he grabbed some of all and stuck them in a little bag thingy. He was quite proud of himself for braving it.

LZ almost bumped into Veng. "AHA!" he said, rather loudly. He was not used to the indoors.

"I found you, you crook." he thought for a moment. "Drop and give me 20!" he thought ahain. "That isn't right." he slammed his pretend magnifying glass on the ground. "Well shuckeroonies."

Vengeance gave him an odd look. That kid needed mental help. And with that being thought he started walking out with the doughnuts quite like it was okay. Well it was okay as far as he was concerned.

LZ followed happily, patting the stolen items in his pockets. These would be very tasty he decided, he could even have enough to give his Mom next time he saw her!

"Thanks for showing me the stuff!" he told Veng. "I thought this place was for humans only."

"Eh sure." Vengeance answered as he headed back out into the rain, "Just...don't make it a habit to go there alone, they might not like you hanging out without me." Yes it was another stretch of truth, "Now...I'm gonna be busy so...umm bye."

LZ nodded, saying he understood...the part about going back in without Veng.

He continued to follow with no respect towards what Veng said about leaving. "Where ya goin'?" he asked, munching on a candy bar.

"Somewhere you're not." He commented. Stupid little zetra, he'd have to run faster. So he did, start running through the rain that was. Even though he wasn't 100% sure where he was going yet.

LZ's eyes went wide as he started to chase after him. Running sure halted the progress of eating his candy. >=U His floppy clothes were slowing him down considerably.

"Hey Mister! W-wait for me I wanna come with!"

"No, go tell your mom about your adventure!" He shouted back to him, trying quite purposly, although not that hard, to lose him somewhere along the line.

"My Mom is gone now!" he yelled after Veng, still following him. Veng was fast! He was beginning to lose sight of him.

"Mister! Mister! I can't-" he slowed down for a few breaths. He no longer saw Veng, the rain didn't help either it was making everything cloudy and reducing visibility. "I can't...." he said to himself. He looked down at his feet before flopping onto his butt and taking a bite of his candy bar.

He took his time chewing and swallowing. "I can't see you." he finished quietly.

Vengeance heard the part about his mom being gone and didn't think much about it. OH WELL for dumb little zetra. He'd just have to wait! That is...until he remembered hwo DUMB little zetra had been. He wouldn't just sit out in the rain would he? Like Veng wouldn't XD Maybe he should...ask him. He sighed, GOSH he hadn't expected to run into a DUMB zetra. And followed his way back to where he figured the zetra would be. "Well why are you here if your mom isn't?" He asked rather annoyed.

LZ looked up at Veng and smiled. He had a mouthful of candy bar. "Well she's kinda here." he said. "She sleeps a lot though. I haven't seen her wake up in a while. She must have worked really hard!" he swallowed the candy.

"When I find her again I'll try to wake her up so she can have some candy!" he made a face. "The rain though, it gets me lost." he took another bite of the candy, finishing it off.

Vengeance looked all the more confused. "She doesn't wake up..? You know people don't sleep forever when they get tired." He acted as if little zetra were being DUMB again, "You should go find her. It's not good to stand in the rain."

LZ thought for a moment. "Well, I haven't seen her wake up for a few days. But I haven't been around her much." he looked up into the rain, smiling as it splattered against his face.

"Mom always said I should play in the rain because it will help me stay clean!" he exclaimed, brushing some water on the ground with his hand. "And she said then I don't get um...detected...intected...or something."

Vengeance kindly rolled his eyes. This kid was hopeless. Besides, he seemed fine. His mother was somewhere and didn't sound like she moved a lot anyway. And she'd told him to play in the rain. Fine. He could manage on his own then.

"Well alright then." Vengeance answered and starting walking away again.

LZ continued sitting in the rain. His smile faded very quickly when he saw Veng walking away. He liked to have company and his mom had been sleeping for a long time. Maybe she was awake now!

"Hey Mister!" he called. "Can you show me where I found the keychain?" he asked.

GOSH dumb little zetra. Veng sighed. it wouldn't take that long he supposed, then he could be on his way.

"Sure." he commented not so enthusiastically as he came back. He headed back down the way they had been traveling without a word. He'd be glad to get this over with and back on his way for sure. He figured that anyway.

LZ smiled at him again and got up to follow Veng. He knew where his Mom was from the keychain location, but he didn't know where that was.

"Thanks Mister!" he said excitedly. "Then you can meet my mom too!" He started to wonder if she'd approve of him, she didn't like it when he brought home strangers. OH WELL!

Ugggh not ANOTHER request. He sighed, it'd be fast he figured. She wouldn't want him there anyway. "Alright." He answered all monotone as he backtracked. He found it soon enough.

LZ looked where Veng led them. "Okay!" he said, not agreeing to anything just stating he knew where they were now. He hurried down the sidewalk, around a corner and went into an alley. He took another corner there and approached a rather large and soggy box.

A light blue zetra's legs were sticking out of the box. LZ rushed up to the legs and gave them a shove displeasingly.

"Come on MOM." he demanded. "I want to show you someone!" he dug in his pocket and beamed at a candy bar. "I brought you some food like you wanted too!" he glared at the unresponsive legs. "MOOOOOM." he said kicking them.

He turned to Veng with a nervous grin on his face. "Sorry Mister she is really tired."

Vengeance tilted his head to one side, "She, uh, usually sleep like that?" He asked, it was oll a bit odd if you asked him.

"Not usually." he said glancing back down at her. "Only for a few days." he said again. he gave the legs another kick. He knelt down and scooped some water from the ground.

"Waaaaaake..." he threw it into the box. "...UP!" he yelled. He smiled, but then frowned. "Maybe she's sick." he said. He thought for a moment before smiling again. "Nah!" he concluded. "She said she'd be better with food and rest. She is resting and I brought her food!"
