Alright, I've got an idea as to a new RP. I've got most of the plot worked out but I need your thoughts.

Here goes a summary of the plot: 20 years ago a boy known as Zach was involved in a house fire. The young boy was trapped in the building as the supports burned away. A support beam crashed down on the boy and crushed his right arm, leaving him trapped as the fire burned at his face and the smoke crippled his lungs and in turn, his heart. By some miracle Zach survived the fire. On arrival at the hospital he was thought to be beyond help. A scientist visiting at the facility saw a opprotunity to test his lastest work. Zach became the test subject of a hi-tech life support system and an experimental form of mechanical prosthetics.

Shortly after the surgery the scientist that developed the techlology was murdered. With Zach as the only example of his work he was kidnapped by terrorists and was further experimented on as use for a weapon. Various weapon systems were implanted into his arm and for a short time the robotic core of his brain took contol and he was sucessfully used as a weapon. He eventually escaped however.

With their original subject gone the terrorists began further experimenting to install the systems into new hosts. A vital detail was missed however, the original tech was coded to Zach's DNA. Therefore the new creations lost control and began destroying the lab. The program began further infecting humans and causing mass chaos.

The goverment officals have been working to find a way to reverse the process. Meanwhile, citizens are being kept inside houses and military forces inhabit the streets in an attempt to hold back the infected.


Alright, if you like the concept I need civilians, military personel, and if someone wants for some reason, infected.

A. Does it involve Dragons
B. Does it involve mastery of elements
C. Does it involve basic rp elements such as ":He smiled." "She yawned." He hugged her. She hugged back. He smiled again. She smiled back.

I WANT TO JOIN, CAN I BE INFECTED?!?!?!?! ooh, wait, will my character have any control over the infection? well, even if he doesn't, I WANT TO BE INFECTED!!!!! but, if i can't be infected, civilian sounds cool, like a civilian that has the best and worst luck, people around him keep getting killed, but he never seems to get killed, lol. kinda like the black guy off of resident evil 2, lol. poor black guy that was in the wrong place with the S.T.A.R.S. members at the right time.

Out of curiousity, what do you mean by "control the infection"?

lol, yes, sorry about that...and by control the infected, i mean, since this is an RP, doesn't that mean that i control my own character, and if he is infected, does that mean he is limited to being some wild beast, or can i actually have him go around like an intelligent person and assassinate people

The majority of infected are just mindless killing machines. Some have retained enough intelligence to work for their own causes like CC's. But The Hunter is the only one who has complete control over himself.

I like thinking that if they have a goal that doesn't exactly interfere with the whole "kill everyone" thing, they can retain that goal. If he was an assassin before his infection, he may be attracted to and more likely to attack previous targets. Or presidents or something. And if he REALLY REALLY hated someone before his death, like a friend who tripped him and ran just to have a distraction/bait, he may hunt down that particular person due to a subconscious angry grudge and want to kill them extra painfully (Stalker has something like that). But I think they still need to kill everyone, so probably no "protect this cute little kid because she looks like my old daughter" stuff...

Is that right?

well then, my "infected" is going to hunt down his best "friend" who turned his back on him during the infection process by running away and leaving him to die in the street, yes....
