Anyone wondering where the heck the name comes from here ya go, what's worth fighting for? What will you do? How far would you take it? think about it =U XD

Okay everyone here’s a lil discription. Everyone’s basically gathered together on a planet from various planets. Why? Because of the chaos and destruction and what not ravaging everywhere anyway. There just seems to be one problem, one of the biggest known militaries of the time seems to not have any concern about any other planet or their own really.

Here’s another thing though, I’m not forcing your characters to be a part of the military but umm they reign upon eachother and the city with an iron fist |D So if you’re not with them, they’re still gonna treat you like you are. Aren’t I nice? =)


“We need help. We ask for you to have mercy on us, we would only need less than a quarter!”

“Uh-huh, interestingly enough I heard you the first time.”

“But…”

“You know, you’re kind of boring me…why don’t we reschedule this for next month?”

“But our people!”

“Ah, they’ll manage.”

The door slammed down dividing the two.

“Another boring day…” The man sighed as he spun once in his fancy desk chair, “If only everyone would shut up and learn to fight for themselves we wouldn’t have to bother with this…”

A small light blinked near the large computer screen to one side of the room. He pressed the button lazily as he kicked back in his chair and placed his feet on the desk.

“Like they’d say, someone better be dead, but in this case, I don’t really care so how about this…you better have gotten the plasma screen tv while you were killing them.”

“Sir, the people are protesting the—“

“I can see that, I don’t really care. Go kill a few. That usually works.”

“Y-yes Sir….”

Beyond the borders of the military base were no better. The people lived in fear and poverty—they were raided of all their belongings on a regular basis. Any form of disapproval of their government rule was extinguished as soon as it started, most often by death.

Those who rebelled were hunted and made public displays of what would happen to those who did not conform and the city was nearly enslaved into the tyranny they considered a military.

Forced to fight meaningless battles and kill innocent lives all in the name of power and achieving ‘the greater good.’ Of course as always there were those who refused to conform who were still managing to hide from the military’s grasp. Some worked alone while others gathered in small groups. One day they would rid the planets of the massive military…or so they hoped.

The sandy desert beyond the city prevented a safe escape from their rule. With towers set up high above the sand, all those daring to venture out into the desert were shot on sight, no questions asked. Life was an invaluable item to the leading officers of the army—who had set themselves up as their own government.

so right now it's character posting time =U Don't forget we're gonna need all kinds of characters I don't mean just species but we're talking civilians, military peoples, and let us not forget the total backstabbers who may very well be amongst the military or the civilians checking for rebellions =) all that kind of stuff I'll tell you where we're going from there ^-^

Examples of God Modding:
Shadow Playing

Shadow playing is when you control another person’s character. This is not as obvious as it may seem, and even an experienced player can accidentally shadow play a little. At first you may think it is controlling the dialogue of another character, making them do something, etc. but this is not always the case. The most common form would be doing something, and describing. Below is an example:

Bill jumped out from a bush and scared Jill.

In this example the player that controls Bill shadow played by stating that Jill got scared. Below is another option that is acceptable:

Bill jumped out from a bush attempting to scare Jill

In this example Jill was not shadow played and leaves control up to the owner of the character. Another form of shadow playing is stating if your attack hit the opponent or not. Everyone has control of what attacks hit themselves and which ones don’t. Owners may have special abilities that break that principle, but for the most part you will always decide what hits you and what doesn’t.

Speed Hacking

Speed hacking is a simple god mode to avoid. Speed hacking is one of two things. The first, and most common, is doing too much in your post. It is tempting to swing your sword, run away, make another attack, use an item, etc. all in one post, but that leaves your opponent doing absolutely nothing the entire time. There is no conceivable way you would be able to do all of that so quickly. The second form of speed hacking is making a post, and before the other player has a chance to do anything making another post. Siply, don’t do too much at once and you’re in good shape.

Power Charactering

Power charactering is when you are doing just too many awesome things; never getting hit being the most common. Take hits on occasion and don’t get upset that you got injured. Some other people would do something completely impossible, such as a fighter brand new to combat closing their eyes and listening to the sound of the incoming blade and avoiding the attack. You simply can’t do that so new to combat.

Give and Take

Give and take is an acting technique anyone in theatre should know. It is the art of taking the spotlight when appropriate, and giving it up when you no longer need it. No one likes the kid that always wants to be heard, seen, etc. so try not to become that. This does not mean “don’t RP” but it does mean that you shouldn’t demand attention from everyone all the time. This is especially true for the main character. It is incredible difficult for a main character to do anything when literally 10 characters are talking to them at once. Everyone has the impulse to demand main character attention, but it is simply not needed.

This is also true for player attention. You don’t always need to do something to demand player attention, such as defeat every boss the group comes across. Or always be the one to volunteer everyone for a charitable cause.


Flexibility

This is a hard one for a lot of people, but try to remain flexible. Your character may hate musical instruments, but that does not mean you need to destroy the bard’s banjo every time he gets a new one. Or you may wan to kill everyone that patronizes you, but that does not mean you need to attack every player character that talks down to you. Sometimes certain things have to occur or slip, and you need to let them go by. Should anyone have to have things always definite than no one would get along.

What Light Blue finned Alien with wing like ears in a darker shade of blue. Blue fins protrude from his front legs. His tail is long and flat, used more like a paddle. He has two giant wings, black on the inside and white on the outside, although they are not ideal for extended flying he can use them to glide down from higher surfaces.

A swift swimmer. He’s always cold to the touch and has an almost rubbery feel to him.

Personality: A tad more shy than most, but always compliant. He enjoys following along as an assist to the larger and stronger forces around him.

Biography: One of several common alien species that tend to have been inhabitating the area as of recent. More or less inslaved into their military forces, he is often used for the purpose of investigating the less pleasant areas of the city such as sewers. They are often given to new recruits to aid them in their tasks and are considered to be like disposable resources.

A two tailed greenish alien with orange hands. He has giant green feet and two antenna on his head with green balls at the tips. He has three spots on each side of his face and a few on his jointed tails that are connected by an orb. He wears a type of grayish suit to protect his fuzzy body. He tends to be warmer to the touch like a normal animal and feels much like a fluffy cat would.

Personality: Out going and friendly. He's always ready to offer his advice...even if his advice isn't worth anything. He's enthusiastic to help and is incredibly adventurous, despite his rather small height in comparison to everything else--about three feet tall standing on two feet--he'll stick by his partner no matter what they face.

Biography: One of several common alien species that tend to have been inhabitating the area as of recent. More or less inslaved into their military forces. Mango is just an all purpose side kick so to speak. He'll do whatever he's asked too basically.

Spiky blue hair, white body has distinctive black dots like that of dice and dominoes. Long black bat like ears that nearly droop due to length. He has three holes in one ear, including a single ring. He wears a black bandanna and has two small fins protruding from his back. His tail, much like Pulse's is long and flat but has a five pattern on the upperside. He wears sock looking gloves on his front paws and is often more apt to walk on his front paws than his back. His balance is superb which makes up for his less fitting swim gear.

Personality: A bit more self confident than the others, he enjoys playing many pranks on those around him and has a certain distinctive independence that sets him apart from their normal personalities to help. He will comply to orders...with some incentive. As far as being loyal to his cause and loyal to his partner...he wavers quite a bit more depending on what he wants to do at the moment. He isn't afraid to fight though, it's usually just preference.

Appearance:

A broad fanged face with drool dripping from his yellowish teeth. He has four small green eyes and spikes above his eyes as well as a hard pointed tip of his head. Long spine like bones protrude from his back and his tail appears as though all flesh and outer covering was eaten away leaving a skeleton attached to a type of scythe. He has a long thin lizardlike body with thin long sticklikelegs. Excellent at climbing and running. He also has bright green bands around two legs.

Personality: Loyal to one person and enthusiastic about hunting. He loves to track whatever he is informed to. Not overly aggressive but plenty intimidating with his appearance.

Biography: This type of creature is often assigned to various army officers as they are assumed to be capable of handling such a creature in a positive manner. Sargent Smiles has no significant history.

Appearance: Mokey is pretty much brown everywhere. Brown hair, eyes, tan skin...wait that's not brown...ANYWAYS! He has his hair spiked up, and a crown that resembles a ring on his forehead pretty much all the time, and while we're on his head area, when in battle, he has a blue eye lense much like Fox does in SSBB to help focus, since he is quite out there and has no magic powers. His attire consisits of a black t-shirt, a blue jacket, black sweat pants, and black tennis shoes.

Personality: Mokey is described a being a noble creature whose actions are always right. That is being he described himself. In reality he is bold, arrogant, and rather stupid. On the other hand, he is kind, fair, and just. However, most of the time he hides his loveable side for his unlikable side to try to act "cool" around the other Sky Dragon members. Also, he is a determined fighter, and doesn't like to lose.

Biography: Born on Planet Simian, Mokey is the heir to the throne, and is currently the Prince, soon to be King. He has trained greatly since his birth due to Planet Simian's Eternal War and his future position as Chief Commander of the militaries. He joined Sky Dragon when he was 18, and proved to be an effecrive member, even though he has no magic powers, and became a permanent member. He has helped save Lylat several times, and has been on several other RPs since then.

AGE: 140 years old (About 14 years old in our terms)

DESCRIPTION: He's basically all the lizardmen aliens you've ever seen. He's green, has large yellow eyes, much like a cat, small spines sticking put his back, a small dewlap (the thing on iguanas) on his neck, gills on his neck, which grants him the ability to breathe underwater in the underground refuges the Skierzaras live in, something of a dorsal fin on his head, and a large tan spot on his stomach. He is immensly powerful, able to lift up to 10 times his own weight (80 pounds)

PERSONALITY: He loves adventure, often taking every oppurtunity. He says he wasnts to live life to the fullest, and do whatever fun there can be. He explores the universe, seeking knowledge and culutral value. He also aids the Skierzaras's efforts to stop Grey Martian abducting and studying of other species, mainly human kind, who has very little knowledge of them in the first place.

BIOGRAPHY: A Skierzaras born when Earth was barely tapping on the knowledge of space, Pluto has quite a history. They were watched intently by Martians, a race of aliens who lived mainly underground. About 26 years after his birth, the Aurora, Texas UFO Incident was a botched attempt to make contact. The Martian race agreed to stay quiet for a time. During World War II, however, the Grey Martian race attempted to end the war, destroying all of the armies as quietly as possible. The Skierzaras did not allow this, but several attacks slipped by. These are called "Foo Fighters" by the humans.
Afterwards, the Martians attempted many studies on humans, ending in a crash and death of a Grey near Roswell, New Mexico. The Mars Council decided not to disturb the humans any longer. However, still many Greys try to abduct and study humans. The Council has yet to stop such horrible actions.
Pluto himself is well-educated. He is part of the Space Relations, a group that makes peace with other alien nations. Earth is not intended to be asked to join, due to their technological inadequecy. He often spends his free time exploring the universe. He also uses a dangerous new technology, Time Travel, to see how the universe formed. However, his A.I., Emi, fears of being lost in time is realized when he is trapped in the future, where he is currently in an unknown location, near an asteroid belt.

Current Position: Wandering in this strange new time in space.

Personality: Despite his dark and evil apperance Drako is actually a very caring person, though sometimes overly serious.

Biography: Drako leads one of the most renowned teams of heros-for-hire in the universe. As Sky dragon commander he has gained respect in many diffrent planetary systems and galaxies. Though after receiving a serious injury during the last mission his wife forced him to wear a braclet that prevents him from shifting into dragon form and hinders his powers. Otherwise she believes he might not heal properly. Drako's team has been hired by an unknown benefactor to assist with the rebellion.

Appearance:Brown hair, tall, red jacket with a white t-shirt underneath, blue jeans, an old damaged headpiece from his mentor Kuroe, leather gloves, white shoes,a katana, and a small computer strapped to his left arm that allows him to store and summon allied demons, it also has proficient hacking capabilities

Personality: He's a very dutiful person and takes his job fairly seriously though he is very light-hearted and can usually remain calm in bad situations.

Biography: Zulo is one of the many ZFs in the Freeman line. He took up training as a demon buster after being saved from death by his mentor DB Kuroe. After Kuroe's death he went on to get his DB license and kept Kuore's headpiece as a memento. Her Cerberus eventually found him and has remained his faithful partner ever since.

Biography: He used to belong to DB Kuroe however after his death he took up Zulo as his new master. His only special powers seem to be his strength and the occasional fire breath, oh, he's basically immune to heat based attacks.

Race/species: Anthro Red Fox

Age: 19 (Fox doesn't know his own age, he suspects he is at least 21)

Gender: Male

Appearance:

If anyone could see a picture of Fox he would most likely remind them of Fox McCloud from the StarFox series. DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE! xD (I know some will not believe me, but I created this Fox character before I was exposed to the StarFox series. It was purely coincidental and I did not just rip-off what I saw.) Fox is not very well built in the strength department. (He can usually hold his own in hand to hand combat and he can support and manuver his body quite well in most situations.) Fox is a dusty orange color almost everywhere on his body, except for his chest leading up to his bottom jaw, the tip of his tail and inside his ears. His feet are black up to his ankles and his hands are black up to his wrists. He does not keep himself very well groomed. Fox is almost 6 feet tall, around 5 feet 11 inches.
He wears a pair of extremely faded camo pants. His shirt is usually a plain color, but he has been known to buy wacky shirts with lots of color on occasion. He wears a canvas belt around his waist and several leather storage pockets are connected to it.

Under his shirt, Fox wears canvas straps layed out like a vest. He finds this very useful for when he finds weapons..or steals them. He has not taken it off in the recent months, but he can never find a good reason too.

Fox wears a pair of faded camo shoeboots. They are much like hiking boots, but are more a weird combo of tennis shoes and cowboy boots.

Personality:

Fox is more of a listener than a speaker. Even though he has a bad memory, he tries to absorb as much information as possible while giving out little to none. Fox does not know the joys of a true friend, so usually he shows little to no compassion for anyone. Under the right circumstances however, his bright side may show and his personality can change entirely. He usually will wait until provoked before getting defensive or aggressive torward anyone or anything. His worst flaw is his memory. He finds it difficult to remember faces and names, or even a four digit number. Stuff he deems as 'important' is easily remembered, but other things are often lost in his mind by the end of the day. Because of this, Fox is very cautious about everyone and most everything.
He is often overly cautious. In intense situations, Fox loses his cautiousness and instead can make some very bad decisions. Fox never likes to take orders, nor does he like to give them. This problem is the most common cause of confrontations between Fox and others. He is often frustrated or in a bad mood because of his memory, but will try not to show it. He prefers working alone and not needing to worry about others, but that's not to say he does better when going solo.

Biography:
He has lived many places in his life and has never had any friends. It doesn't bother him though, as it is the only life he knows. He doesn't like being told what to do, nor does he like doing stuff that he doesn't want to do. Fox cannot remember anything earlier than the age of fourteen. This often troubles him as he isn't sure what the cause of this is. What he can remember though, is from when he was being fostered. A family took care of him for almost a year, but due to their lifestyle and constant harrassment about his species, Fox abandoned them. Up till his current age, Fox has roamed the streets. He wishes to someday find out what happened to his family. He ignores the past and what may happen in the future and seems to only care about the present. Throughout his life, Fox has learned how to effectively use weapons of many types. He's no pro marksman, but more often than not he can hit his target with a blaster.

(If anyone will remember from his character bio I wrote a long time ago, Fox has a special blood type that will prevent anything that enters his bloodstream, that is not created by his body, from effectively working. This can range from tranquilizers, poisons and medicine. The only way these things can affect Fox is if he inhales them. Can I 'activate' this in the story or would it count as g-modding?)

Personality: Shy, paranoid, not quick to trust people, sneaky and deceptive, just as likely to help you as stab you in the back, doesn't take himself too seriously, tries to be intimidating when uncomfortable. ._.

DESCRIPTION: A human looking boy,stands at 5' 11", and has 2" long untidy black hair, bright green eyes, wears black loose pants, Black military style boots, and a crimson red t-shirt, is always wearing a long crimson red trench-coat. carries a sword that is christianed "Mardra". also carries two pistols, that have 10 armour peircing rounds in each one. Has a mark in the shape of a helix dna strand burned on his right cheek.Has a pet creature called a "Sesout" which can morph itself into vehicles for him to use. Has a special ability, where his eyes go yellow, and he can see things in slow motion for a limited time, though the time changes each time, and has no control of how to activate it. Can create a electric sheild for a limited time, and is able to run or walk up anything that has a static discharge, due to the swords own static discharge through his body, however this weakens him, and the electricity hurts him gradually, so he cannot just stand on the wall, otherwise, he might fall from passing out, XD.

PERSONALITY: A thinker, takes in every detail of what is before him, having a picture perfect memory, and thinks of what needs to be done. however, his thinking normally gets him into trouble at times, when he starts to think too hard. doesn't trusts strangers that much, and thinks that everyone is his enemy.

BIOGRAPHY: Was raised as an orphan by an elder of the "Spirala" race. Was trained in the many styles of fighting of his own race, and wasn't able to master his own races abilities. When he was of age to become a full fledged warrior (16) recieved the Spirala "Mark of the Warrior" which was a helix dna strand mark burned into his cheek. His planet was attacked, and the elder who raised him gave him the katana, Mardra, and sent Shadow off the planet in an escape pod, and spent the last two years trying to master the swords abilities. is now currently on another planet that is also being attacked by some militia.

(YAY NEW RULE! =D)

Fox poked his head above the door. What was taking Pulse so long? He looked over at the trashcan that had fallen. He saw it, it was a tail of something. He watched as the creature suddenly dashed over the the building. It froze instantly, Fox tensed up, hoping it couldn't detect him. It appeared to be a very large rodent, it's sharp teeth were protruding from it's mouth and they were stained red. It had short legs and feet, but long claws on each foot.

It sniffed the air, looking around above itself, before suddenly crawling through some rubble and into the building. It only took a second for Fox to realize what it was after.

"Pulse!" he said with alarm, mostly to himself. He jumped out of the van and made his way to the building.

Mega10:
Oblivious to any form on impending danger Pulse continued pushing the weapon along and slobbering all over the one in his mouth. If he were attacked, he wouldn't exactly have an amazing chance against it. With round clawless feet, and who knew what kinbd of aim with a weapon, his only real abilities were flying and whacking people with his massive tail, granted that didn't include calling anyone else from their military in, although thus far it had seemed as if he had no intention to ever.


ZF:
Drako got up, ducking low "Right, lets go."


Brad:
Fox glanced around himself nervously, he didn't want to approach the building with so little cover, but he had to make sure Pulse was okay. Fox rushed up to the building, looked around again and leaned into the rubble.

Every instinct in his body told him not to yell for Pulse. Fox wasn't sure if he should follow his conscience or his instincts. They had a distinctive difference. Fox gritted his teeth before ;eaning as far into the rubble as he could. "Pulse?!" He shouted, "Pulse, you've got incoming danger. Pulse?!"

The fact I posted last threw me off @_@ AHEM...

Pulse's massive ears shot up--evidently the word 'danger' was a word he well understood. Apparently braver than he looked, the creature pressed on making his slow progress. Even if there wasn't very much room to maneuver around, he continually checked to try and make sure nothing was sneaking up on him. Granted he probably should've paid attention to what was in front of him as well.

His ears twitched apprehensively at every 'tink' of falling rubble or shift in the collapsed structure. He finally answered Fox's call with a rumbly sound that sounded more like a high pitched version of someone gargling something in their mouth.

Fox was puzzled, but he didn't show it. He was hearing a strange gurgling sound that he had never heard before. Of course, he had never seen Pulse's species or the creature that went in after him either.

Fox didn't want to keep yelling, already he felt he was pushing his luck with the creature or any nearby hostiles. Glancing around nervously again, he crouched low by the rubble, ears keen to any sounds.

Pulse glanced around, seeming to check for another exit but with all the fallen debris that looked as if it would prove fruitless. Sighing, he once more picked up the blaster carefully in his mouth and pushed the other along as he went. It probably wouldn't be particularly ideal if he ran into someone with his hands full so to speak, but it was also be pretty dumb to have gone in there to return with less than you went in with too.


Outside of the building, on a far outer stretch--probably what remained of the opposite side of the road, a mostly black and white creature with blue hair--who obviously seemed to think it was very sneaky, was approaching...incredibly slow seeing as it was crawling. It looked somewhat similar to Pulse, minus the color of course, although its wings were tiny and in no way could they support his actual weight. It's ears and paws were slightly different too, but overall it seemed to be from the same general species that Pulse most likely was a part of.

Fox was getting very uneasy over the whole situation, even though he was telling himself in his mind to be calm and cool, it wasn't helping much. He let his instincts take over as he searched the rubble for anything he could use to get into the building. He found several pieces of rebar, he picked them up and hurried back to where Pulse had entered. He jammed one piece of the rebar between two concrete slabs, trying to pry them apart, the rebar only bent.

Frustrated, he threw the bent rebar aside and grabbed another, this time smashing the concrete with it. At first only a few chips appeared, then a slight crack, then a good chunk of the concrete fell off. Fox Paused for a moment, he realized his move was only of desperation. He had tried to get to his blaster before the upper section of the building had collapsed, blocking it even more. Even if he managed to get back into the building, he wouldn't be able to help Pulse or reach his blaster. He retreated back to the van and instead began to search the glovebox, door panels and anything else that opened for food, water or anything he deemed useful.

Pulse carried on about his way--he had never had any particular issue with being brave enough. He was pretty accustomed to having his life on the line as a regular, daily practice, so this was no different really. He shoved one of the two weapons through a narrow spot, before squeezing himself through it with the other in mouth. He kept his ears perked forward to detect any sound of approaching attack.

Dice picked up his pace until he was behind the van, snickering to himself...he was a rather bad little creature and no doubt had every intention of doing something he most likely shouldn't.

Fox threw some papers out of the glovebox. And behind them was a lighter and some sort of lanyard. It was a metal lighter, a brand Fox had used before. He flicked the button and to his surprise, it lit on the first try. Fox smiled for a moment. He let the flame die and shook the lighter near his ear, trying to see how much fluid was inside. He didn't get a good estimate. He opened a zippered pocket on his belt and placed the lighter beside a few other items. He closed the glovebox and dug through the passenger side door, hoping for nail clippers or perhaps a knife of some sort. There was nothing of interest. He switched the the driver's side door. There was a plastic lighter in this one. He flicked the button, once, twice, three times. It wouldn't light. He checked the shell of the lighter, cracked.

"Nope." Fox muttered, tossing it aside. Fox found a few cigarettes in the door as well. He looked at them for a moment, his mind trying to find the answer to keep them or not. Many people such as him himself did not have easy access to such items, so he pocketed them. He figured he may be able to barter them later. Fox looked out the window at the place where Pulse had entered the building. He didn't see him. Fox exhaled with regret before crawling to the backseat of the van, determined to find other items.

Mercury was trying to eat all of the free candy on his savior's ship.

(SPEAKING of his savior, SIMIAN'S CHARACTER, is he still rp'ing? ) (I'd do a better post, but I don't remember much and I'm not sure Simian is here. xD)

Without warning, which was of course his intention, Dice jumped up at the van, making something a sound that sounded like a mixture of a taunt and gargling as he smashed his face up against the back window.

And a few moments later, Pulse emerged from the building victorious as he shook small particles of rubble from his once wet but now rather dry body. He still held his prize of two weapons one retrieved, the other brought for protection.

Having been in the backseat of the van, Fox was close to the back window when he was greeted by Dice's spotted face and blue hair. Fox jumped back from the window, but he was blocked by the seat. He glanced from the window to his hand, his knife was in an attack position. Fox gave himself silent praise for being ready, before returning his gaze to the creature in the window. Fox gave him an odd look...he didn't look especially threatening, but anything that hits the back of the van he's in that aggressively did not make Fox comfortable.

He approached the window for a closer look.

Dice looked rather mischevious as he snickered over what he had done and rolled his tongue across the surface of the fan. Occassionally he would jump up at the van, although he wasn't particularly tall so he more looked like something that could be potentially dangerous...if there had been more of him or others like him.


Pulse looked around, obviously confused by Fox's absence and made a gurgling noise that sounded like somewhat of a call to his friend. His ears flicked twice as he gazed around once more and then proceeded on, making his gurgly noises every so often.

Fox watched as the spotted creature's tongue rolled over the van. Thoughts about how dusty the van was and how he wouldn't do that crossed his mind, but he quickly rid himself of the clutter.

Fox watched Dice for a moment, at this point he had completely forgotten about Pulse. After a short while Fox convinced himself that the creature was harmless enough, after all, he wasn't going to let the thing keep him in the van forever. He unlatched the back doors of the van and stepped out, knife in hand.

Dice retreated a few steps when Fox apparently wasn't as frightened of him as he had hoped and got out, but didn't go off too far. His wide tail whipped back and forth as he growled at Fox and hopped from side to side. Whether he was just taunting Fox or challenging him wasn't entirely clear.

Pulse's ears perked up as he could hear Dice growling and he headed in that direction, tail flopping every now and then on the dusty ground.

Fox gave Dice an odd look. What was that thing doing? Fox sheathed his knife and crossed his arms.

"Can I help you with anything?" he asked sarcastically. It was about that time Fox remembered Pulse. He tried not to look alarmed and instead calmly glanced toward the building Pulse had entered. It was a quick glance and revealed nothing. Fox returned his gaze to Dice...he wasn't about to turn away from a stranger that quickly.

Dice was apparently insulted by such a suggestion. Evidently not being the brightest, he was about to lunge at Fox when Pulse appeared. The blue creature was balancing on his hind legs and...not being extra careful with the first blaster he had been given and ended up firing it at...nothing in particular.

Fox jumped away from the stray shot even though it was far from hitting him. He tried to discipline himself to avoid looking like a fool, but he had been shot at far too many times, and hit once, to take any chances.

Fox's gaze returned to Dice for a moment before shifting to Pulse. He spotted his old reliable blaster and his eyes lit up. Rushing to Pulse he snatched his blaster away and began examining it. It seemed to be in working order as Fox squeezed a metal plate and a light lit up for a brief moment. Fox cleaned some of the more prominent dirt away from the surface before turning to Pulse.

"Hey...thanks. I owe ya one." He paused for a moment. "I don't like long debts, I don't sleep well with them on my mind." Fox paused again, trying to plan his words. "Anything I can do?" Without waiting for a reply he began to open the solar panels on the blaster.

Dice had stopped his attack all together for the time being, grumbling to himself over the fact in his own mind, Pulse had ruined his plan. His tail flicked back and forth irritably.

Pulse listened to Fox and then gurgled some...strange noise as usual and proceeded to run over and try hugging his leg. Dice made somewhat of a his noise at the sight of this--evidently he wasn't very fond of whatever the heck Pulse was being affectionate towards a fox.

Fox was about to protest the hug when he remembered the deed Pulse had done. Fox wasn't sure why he would refuse affection in the first place. Argh. He shook his head, he didn't want these thoughts. He looked down at Pulse and relaxed a little. What harm could a hug do anyway? He looked over at Dice and the sound told him Dice was most likely displeased.

"You know the spotted one?" he asked Pulse.

Pulse smiled and then looked to Dice, his big ears flattening to his head. If he hadn't noticed the being there he had now. At last he nodded his head before scurrying behind Fox as if to be protected by him.

Dice rolled his eyes, and stretched with a rather long yawn.

"Resistance." He said at last, looking to Fox with a smirk, "We don't like your kind."

Fox watched Pulse hide behind him. This brought a few questions into his mind, but it was Dice's statement that left Fox ignoring Pulse's actions. Fox checked his blaster. He had enough of a charge for 33 shots...obviously it hadn't lost many even after being in the building for some time.

"My kind huh?" Fox examined his blaster, trying to show to Dice that he had a weapon. "What's my kind ever done to you? We try and stay away from...your kind."

Dice was silent for a moment, no doubt, he just like any other creature, didn't particularly WANT to get shot.

"Your kind disregards our government." A low growl rumbled in his throat, "Our...superiors." His smirk had once again returned as he tilted his head to one side, "You're one against many!" Tail flicking to the side he took a step back, "Do you really think you can do anything?"

Pulse just remained hidden, his ears and face fins all lying flat to protect them from danger as he stared on wide eyed.

Fox forced a smile at Dice's question. "I'll be honest with you, you seem like a half-decent soul." Fox paused. Don't give anything away. "But you see, you've succumbed to corruption. I refuse to live under a strict rule that only benefits the superiors and protects those with weak wills. To answer your question, no I don't think I can. But someone else can...and they will. I see myself as a pawn really..." Fox pointed his blaster at Dice.

"Now, I don't care if you go and report me to anyone, in fact, I haven't had the thrill of the chase in a while. Don't want to get rusty you know? I really don't enjoy killing though, and so far it's only been those who try to kill me, or get in the way of my actions." Fox lowered his blaster.

"I've never been one who was good with threats."

"Corruption!" He sneered, "You're the ones who are corrupt! Can't stand the idea of someone being higher up."

He paused to rub one paw over his blue hair and then smirked once more, "Oh you will be hearing from them, I assure you of that." Not specifying what he meant entirely, he took a few more steps back as if testing whether or not Fox was going to let him go.

Pulse however still didn't move.
