Impact sort of froze, those two again? His pace resumed, however much slower now. If they started fighting...he didn't know what he'd do, shoot them maybe.

Timbre retracted a bit seeing Loner get out of the way of the door like that, what was his problem anyway?!

He approached the bed with much anger emitting from him.

"Emo..." he started. "Emo said YOU know about the rip."

Well you were in luck my good friend. The very first thing Onyx decided to do was punch Meteor--hard enough to knock him off balance. He stumbled, not too far since he was by the counter. He ended up leaning back on it, kind of tip toed.

"What's your problem?" Meteor asked, covering where Onyx had punched him while he glared.

"None of your business." Onyx replied, which was pretty stupid since it technically was.

He approached, and promptly got kicked by Meteor. He sure wasn't planning things out well.

"It....it's there. Y-yeah." Loner replied as if that were the answer he wanted. His helmet fins drooped down and he grabbed his pillow, holding it in front of himself as if it'd protect him all the while moving as far back as he could.

Impact turned, mostly to watch. Why should he intervene? Not like it was hurting him at all.

"Being stupid again." he muttered, mostly to himself and he looked back in the cupboard. Hmmm...there was some peanut butter...Meteor had had bread before....hmmm...

Timbre did not continue to advance, he felt he had Loner pinned enough as it was.

"HOW did it get there?" he demanded.

Gosh all this from a tiny rip in the chair. =U

You're stupid." Onyx stated, it wasn't clear who he meant. He grabbed Meteor's leg and pulled it out from underneath him so that he ended up slamming his head on the counter and falling on the floor.

Meteor tried kicking his leg free from Onyx's grip and continued his scramble.

Sable came in, giving them all a skeptical gaze.

"I'm leaving." He stated quite calmly as if he suspected they were going to ask him. He reached for the door in the kitchen although he was facing the opposite direction.

Mercury came happily walking along holding a thing of water which he had gotten from a different room for reasons unknown since his plant was in the kitchen already.

That obviously wasn't why Sable was watching though. It was probably the darkness engulfing the hallway then the black looking smoke weaving its way around the doorframe. It was only a couple seconds later before Stygian burst in after it--probably more forcefully than need be, seeing as he ended up shoving the table and chairs in there aside. The haze around him eased up so that he was visible amongst it again.

Mercury seemed to be the only one not at all surprised on Ten's behalf.

Vigor stood at last from his desk, the plots of today apparently being set aside from now--er ya know his work, although in all reality it was plots. That meant it was time to go out into the woooorld. Go outside that was. He had plans today. Plans to see some...lowclass by his standards, siblings. Not to be nice or charitable of course. He always had other motives and most everyone could easily tell. That was fine. He never attempted to hide it anyway.

He glanced at his caged 'Shifter. It was looking pitifully unhappy today. So much for a joyful creature. He shook his head, disregarding it.

(MERCURY LET HIM OUT!!!)

Impact sighed, glared and went over to break up Onyx and Meteor. When Sable walked in, his movement ceased. Great, what did he want now? Hopefully not another meeting. Before he could resume what he was doing before, the events with Stygian happened.

Impact felt genuine fear as he stay where he stood. Who...who let HIM out? There was no testing Stygian that's for sure, not worth it.

He stood up straight, having been a little limp before.

Datum was out and about that very same day. She had detected another shifter here some time ago but had since lost the trace. (Hmmm now I must figure out WHY she wants to find this shifter. xD) She was mostly ignoring the public, moving along at a slow pace, her hands shoved in the pockets of her (probably stolen) pants. She was trying to be observational moreso than lost in thought, but it wasn’t going so well.

Onyx did what everyone clearly wanted to do but hadn't yet. Swore. =) And proceeded to voice probably what everyone was wonder, "Who the heck let you out?" Yep, that was Onyx for ya, stating what probably shouldn't have been.

Meteor merely stared in silence, perhaps figuring if he didn't move he wouldn't be spotted. Besides, Onyx had taken the majority of Stygian's attention at least for the moment. One of the long whispy black tentacles that lingered around him shot out and grabbed Onyx's leg and pulled it out from underneath him so that he fell on the floor, then Stygian let go.

Mercury was picking up some fruit off the floor which had been in a bowl on the table originally with intentions of making a smoothy. Clearly he didn't care what was going on.

"Anyone else want one?" He asked.

Sable hadn't moved.

Loner totally looked like he wanted to bolt. (AND YES HE IS A WIMP C: ) He glanced both ways, eyes starting to get teary as if this were some huge test he was barely passing. Well we all know who would be first to turn them in if they ever got interrogated =D anyway ahem.

He grabbed a hold of the pillow tighter and smashed his face against it. Yep. He was the worst liar ever.

"O...okay it was Punk's friends!" He stated quite loudly, the rest of what he had to say flowed out in one reaaaally fast run on sentence, "They were here this morning because he had some kind of party before school but you know what kind of friends he has they decided to mess stuff up and that included your chair they totally did it on purpose and I saw them and him and he told me if I told you anything he'd kill me!" He gasped, probably because he was out of breath before whining, "He's gonna kill me now!!" and going off into a pitiful fit of crying.

Vigor headed out--ALONE, without his Shifter. Yes his Shifter remained in his office. If all went according to plan today--and it was rare that it didn't with his ability to pay off most people for results he wanted--then he'd take the Shifter with him later on. For now it was a solo mission.

Impact, like Meteor, also figured Onyx had grabbed the majority of Stygian's attention...thankfully. He figured Onyx was lucky that Stygian let him go rather quickly. He continued standing, waiting...what was Stygian doing here? Was he just curious? Was he angry?

"I am willing to be he hasn't had one in a long time." he spoke, nodding his head toward Stygian. Maybe a smoothie would keep his attention, or cheer him up or something.

Timbre glared, not angry at Loner, but Punk. "He won't kill you." he stated. "He didn't hear you...and it's going to be hard for him to kill you when he's already dead.

He proceeded to give Loner a rough shove, he WAS angry after all, needed to get some momentum moving so he could leave and Loner had still inconvenienced him.

Datum was in the near area, probably on the sidewalk Vigor was closest to. She felt panic, she grew anxious, she was not safe here. What was wrong? She glanced around, her senses warning her to leave. (Or however they detect hunters. xD) A hunter! It was probably a hunter! She made it a priority to avoid anyone taller than her on that sidewalk, which was a lot of people...that being the case, it didn't take long before she stepped off the sidewalk, crossing the road in a hurry and headed toward a small diner.

A hunter near the same area she detected the shifter? This wasn't good, they could be in real danger! Her determination began to rise as she continued on, she should warn this shifter before the hunter finds it!

Mercury frowned. Give one to Stygian.

"You really think....." He didn't finish his thought, shrugging and working to make Stygian a smoothy too apparently.

Onyx was complaining about hurting his arm--clearly a good idea to complain about.

Sable rolled his eyes, guessing there was enough distraction for him to leave without being stopped. He quietly stepped out and shut the door behind him.

Stygian hadn't said anything--well nothing through transmitter anyway considering it was his only way to speak. He just stood there, various black tentacle things whipping about around him--not in much haste as if he were overwhelmingly angry though. His head was turning in the various directions his siblings stood.

Loner let go of his pillow long enough to stop himself from falling over with one hand. He still sniffled as if this weren't good enough of an answer. "Will too." Was his whiny response, although he didn't specify what would.

Lucky for Datum one, Vigor wasn't exactly barbaric enough to go plowing through people to try and find a Shifter--at least not today. Secondly he was oh so business sophisticated and un-hunter like that he hadn't detected her at all--far too preoccupied with all the wonders of...himself. Yes, he was obsessed with himself. Either way he carried on to his destination. |D

Storm was in the cage he'd been left in. He stared at his glowing foot for awhile--even in the electric elemental form he had taken to hiding in he still had glowing patterns. He let his finger trail along it, then stared out of his cage. It was lonely. And cramped. He sighed.

Impact's fins dropped a small amount, why did Sable get to sneak out? HE helped with the distractions and Sable didn't! At least Onyx was still making noise.

Impact slowly placed his hands in his pockets and began to walk toward one of the exits (not sure how many there are. .0. )

Timbre ignored him. He exited Loner's room with much haste, calling out Punk's name several times in a very angry manner. He was slamming doors and stomping all the while. It wasn't so much about the rip now, but how much he had to go through just to get a straight answer from someone!

Datum made her way into the diner, quickly finding a seat as far away from the entrance as possible. She sat down, picking up one of the dessert menus to cover her face. She continued holding it up, but tilted it so she could watch the door for anyone entering.

Stygian was obviously interested in what everyone was doing now, because his head swiveled again--he detects movement better than sound, probably why. Either way he made quite a sudden move for that particular exit--where he presumed it to be anyway, he had the layout of the house down pretty well.

Mercury had just finished making a smoothie, he gave it a skeptical glance but didn't take it over yet.

"Why don't you go back to your stupid room jail cell thing." Onyx grumbled, clearly not getting the point to shut up still as he got himself back up on his feet.

Loner stayed where he was--not a huge surprise, acting as if he'd just been through the most tramatic experience ever.

Emo? He'd decided to open his door just to hear any excitement going on.

FakieSwitch who I had..practically forgotten about, came out from his room that he was now in says ten and glanced around as if he were going to help find Punk. It was short lived. He ended up sitting on the couch and glanced over at the chair. "Hey look, iit's got a tear." He stated epically observantly.

Impact stopped, not taking a step extra. He'd seen what Stygian had done to others and while he was unsure how Stygian felt about him, he knew that might not be something he would want to know.

He turned slightly, glancing at Merc. Was he going to give him the smoothie or not?!

Timbre was looking around for Punk just fine until he heard the statement from Fakie...then he got even more furious.

He sarcastically swore at Fakie before scoffing and calling him Captain Obvious, all the while looking under things like a coffee table for Punk.

Mercury still hesitated but nodded as he approached.

"Um...Stygian...."

Stygian turned part of his attention to Mercury's general direction, letting the black aura around him flicker about and form into different shadowy shapes.

"Um......." He glanced at Impact while he spoke, "Here's a smoothie..." He was quick to add, "It was Impact's idea, not mine."

That was apparently all Stygian needed to hear, he grabbed the glass with one of the tentacles he used as extra arms and flung the thing as fast as he had gotten it in Impact's direction as the aura around him darkened so that he and it were indistinguishable.

Meteor made a dash for the table, not that it were a great protection but it at least made him feel like he wasn't just standing there stupidly.

Oh yeah, it was quite evident that Stygian wasn't too happy now, all various tentacles were lashing about from amidst the aura at anything that they happened to reach.

FakieSwitch shrugged as if he couldn't understand why Timbre would do that. He was just stating what he saw after all. Oh well.

And then there was a DRAMATIC knock on the door. Also known as a simple knock. Knocking was more of a warning than anything because the person on the other side was totally apt to just kicking the thing down if he wanted in.

Emo came out of his room--only to go to Loner's though, and be a complete jerk and ramble on about how angry Punk would be. c:

Not what he was expecting. Impact had hoped Mercs distraction would last longer than...not at all, and without such a serious backlash. He lowered his visor in an instant as the glass was flung at him, he was moving to protect his chest area with his arms when the glass stuck his leg, shattering into a million pieces and getting smoothie all over his foot and the floor behind him.

Stygian was going insane now. =U He was sure of that. He hurried over to Merc and shoved the table over to the top was facing Stygian. "Works better that way." he stated, trying to avoid ducking down as well, that would show weakness.

Timbre froze for a moment. A knock, was that what he had heard? He glanced at Fakie to see if he had heard it too. Timbre was still frozen in his knelt down position, pondering the knock. if that was Punk, would he really knock? It was probably someone outside the family, someone decent perhaps.

(But I thought Storm was too far away to be detected in the building. o.o I think I am underestimating their detection abilities then. I am not used to these these....SHIFTERS. xD)

Mercury frowned at him, still covering his head as he made sure to keep hidden on the side away from Stygian. (that I just totally failed in describing) Meteor was right beside, pretty much doing the same thing minus the frowning at Impact.

"I didn't think he'd like it." He stated quietly as he glanced down at the floor.

Oh yes, it was true, it had upset him a great deal. Why? Because he thought they were mocking him. He couldn't eat things after all. He was in particular angry at Impact though since Merc had mentioned it being his idea. Probably a good thing for Onyx who was totally out in the open and still managing to get flung around. It wasn't long before he decided Onyx would be a good weapon to use against Impact. AKA he was hanging onto him with tentacles and swinging him around at the table.

Fakie had glanced at Timbre likewise. As far as he knew no one should be coming back at this time. Not that he really knew the schedule.

Oh Timbre you are oh so wrong =) So much for knocking, the door flung open and slammed against the wall hard enough to send it back towards being closed. Only problem was person who was at the door's arm stopped it quite forcefully. Yeah that door probably had some extensive damage.

Fakie half leaned over the couch so he could see out to the door in this ever changing house landscape that ten should really draw out for poor Brad that way he could see who was at the door. His face didn't really give much of a hint to who it was or how welcomed they were.

"Ah, the pathetic ones with no life!" Came the greeting from the one who had welcomed himself inside. Vigor. Yeah he had come down to visit his younger siblings apparently in his usual less than pleasant mannerisms.

(C| WELL........if a Shifter has detected another before they can track um pretty much anywhere within a small city In essence they can feel something veeery slight and broad the further they are away from it. The closer they are the better they can tell where its emitting from. Just like say they werein a room of all zetras. If they were in the same room they'd be able to pick out who else was a Shifter Which totally just gave me the horrible idea of they should use a Shifter to find other shifters =D XDD But hunters can do the same thing so XP)

Storm wasn't in search of any other Shifters for fairly obvious reasons. The race was outlawed, and he'd been imported to this city...and office for that matter so he had no real reason to believe others may be nearby and considering more often than not he was hurt the extra energy didn't really make sense to use.

Impact was about to reply to Merc about his failure to properly drag out the distraction, but the Onyx that was currently threatening the table situation was of a higher priority.

Impact dove away from the table, he didn't want to be on the receiving end hen Onyx smashed into it that was for sure. Had he known Stygian was mostly mad at him, he probably would have apologized. (Perhaps he will LEARN he is the target by force. >=U Dumby)

Datum walked past Vigor's establishment, the feeling of another presence fading slightly. She stopped, no....no this was the wrong way. She went back, once again passing the building and stopping. Could it be? Right here? @_@ She turned to the building....well that was a tiny one. *sarcasm*

She crossed her arms as she examined the base of the building and searched for numbers to identify it with should she be interrupted.

Stygian was doing a perfectly fine job of being able to tell where Impact was generally going. Poor Onyx did collide with the table anyway, hard enough to move it a couple inches. He probably wouldn't be feeling too good later. Stygian tossed him aside, deciding to pursue Impact himself, that shoved the table and Meteor and Mercury alike quite a good distance since he didnt step over it.

Granted that made him more angry since he'd essentially just stubbed his foot on it and he stepped back only to give the table a strong shove with his foot that sent it scraping further.

There's an exit to the outside world and one to the other locations of the household. Or maybe two. I dunno. My houses tend to change on command sometimes when I forget. The house is fairly large so, they have a lot of long halls a few different floors, tons of rooms, also lower basement and stuff. A lot of the things like fridge counters etc are all slammed right up next to each other so there really isn't a whole lot to hide behind =U

Impact noticed that Stygian seemed to be focused on him now. Aha, that would explain the avoiding.

He stood firmly, trying to hold his ground in the face of danger. Perhaps if he tried to be honest with Stygian, or show him a little respect, things wouldn't go so badly for him.

"I didn't mean it like that." he stated with more confidence than he was feeling at the moment.

Timbre snorted when he saw Fakie's look toward him.

"I'm standing." he stated to him. "He was talking to the only person sitting in this room....you."

He brushed some dust off his clothes before making his way over to find a place to sit, but not on that ripped chair.

Datum acquired the numbers and found the entrance. What was this place anyway? She didn't think it could be where the hunter had appeared from. Gemi....hmmm....wonder what that could mean? She went up to the door and tried her best to shade the sunlight reflecting off the surface so she could see inside, perhaps a sign or company motto or something would let her know what they did. Maybe the shifter WORKED there!

As far as Stygian was concerned there was only one way that could be taken. If they knew he couldn't eat stuff--which they all SHOULD'VE known considering they lived there with him....unless of course they didn't care so much as to even remember him. That thought was even more infuriating. He slowed his momentum down anyway so that he came to stand right in front of Impact, really only a couple centimeters from touching him. So his black aura was most likely engulfing Impact as well--it didn't cause harm or anything, granted it distorted what one could see both otherwise had no negative effect on others. (Just as a random brad note incase he wishes to envision this, you're character is 5'11' and Styg is 7'7'' C| )

His tentacles lashed against the floor, oh yes, he was still clearly angry. He hadn't actually gone over into an insane status but he was plenty angry enough to kill.

How else can you mean it? Stygian replied, through transmitter of course. Might as well give Impact a chance before attempting murder. =)

Vigor wasn't all that impressed with their responses, but decided he would pursue speaking to them anyway. Finding the others was too much a bother apparently.

"So then." He clasped his hands together as he leaned his elbows on the back of the couch, "Anything...amazing, exciting, worth mentioning happen around here? Of course I doubt that...."

No one really took notice of Datum. After all visitors were frequent and not something uncommon at all. There were a couple of polite nods but that was about it. The majority of the others who were in here seemed to be visitors rather than working peoples.

Impact's reflexes said to get away, they near screamed it. He swallowed as he Stygian got closer. He looked up, trying to see Stygian's face as he approached, but soon his vion was blurred with the aura. As he moved his head back to the neutral position, his visor was scrambling to make things visible, night vision had no effect, it highlighted things and finally settled with a heat detection mode, the targeting system notifying it did not detect any targets.

He flinched as he heard Stygian's words. This was make it or break it, the right answer could mean not death.

Many fear you, Stygian. I am no exception. I...do apologize for attempting to distract you.
He closed his eyes, waiting for the Stygian to harm him.

He sat down on another chair, crossing his arms.

Datum tried her best to fit in, walking as if she had a purpose, knowing why she was there. Her sensing of le Storm was very strong she looked around this lobby area for a while, spotting some stairs. Would they be mad if she went up? Time to find out. She went over to them, the first step once again strengthening the direction of her efforts.

Meteor was staring at the black mass, eyes wide. "Did he eat him?"

Yes it was a stupid question. Mercury looked half concerned likewise, but then turned to see Onyx instead =U

Stygian didn't reply to him instantly, nor did anything about what he was doing suggest he had decided either way. What Impact had said made sense, and was quite likely true. That was good as far as he was concerned in the sense they weren't trying to lie to him to make him happy at least. But it didn't really solve him being angry or not.

As he considered it the aura around him gradually began changing in shape and structure. He crossed his arms, not that they were exactly visible. The only thing visible amidst the haze of darkness would've been the glowing red tips of his 6...or 8...I can't remember, helmet fins.

One of his tentacles slithered across the floor and over Impact's foot (which ten clearly gmodded =U =) ) before wrapping itself around his leg a few times as well. Stygian had made up his mind. ^.^ And it wasn't going to be very nice.

FakieSwitch tilted his head to the side and frowned.

Of course Vigor had no real intention of listening to an answer, "You should stop by my office sometime." He stated, because clearly his siblings ADORED HIM. Ahem.

No one really seemed to be taking notice of her on the floor, they were all too busy chatting, and drinking complimentary water. (>3> XD)

The next floor would've been more empty FYI if she gets there, also a public room but just not as populated, one wide floor that was a solid room with no dividing walls.

The wait was terrible, felt much longer than it was. He wasn't sure if it was a good or bad wait, he figured it was not good. Forgiveness never came easy from Stygian. He felt the tentacle and tensed up, uh oh, that wasn't good at all. His body was ready to try and stop vital parts to smash against anything.

Timbre didn't answer, he didn't have the right answer to gain respect from Vigor anyway, so he was glad he didn't give him a chance to answer.

"What's so great there?" he asked, not exactly thrilled with life at the moment.

Datum indeed found this open floor, it was...odd. Almost creepy in a way. It didn't seem natural. The feeling of another shifter was even stronger now! She found the next set of stairs and, glad to be leaving the odd floor, started to make her way up there as well.

The rest of Stygian's aura dissipated into its normal appearance so that he was visible once again. Of course that made Impact visible too. (clearly this is important facts =U XD) Either way, the tentacle tightened into a rather strong grip and theeeen, what Impact probably expected began to unfold. And that was the fact Stygian had yanked the tentacle back the opposite direction, still with it wrapped around Impact's leg. Have a nice ride Impact =)

"Furniture that isn't mangled for a start." He stated, he'd just noticed the ripped chair although he probably had no clue that Timbre had been bothered with that. "No but seriously, I think you'd like it." Yes he referred to it as it and he didn't mean his office. |D "Being Hunters and all."

FakieSwitch was utterly clueless as to what Vigor was referencing.

Impact exhaled quickly as he jerked his arms down, and his other leg, trying to catch himself. His leg slipped and while he caught himself with one hand and his forearm of the other arm, it wasn't long enough to recover. Before he knew it he was sliding across the floor, gaining speed at an alarming rate. His fingers gripped for the tile, but there was not enough of a chance.

He raised one arm to block the impact (HAW I used it too now) of the wall from his face....he succeeded, but at what cost? A large crunch could be heard as Impact slammed into the wall, it certainly wasn't something he couldn't handle, but his limbs smashing into the wall and then into each other made a loud noise. =U

As soon as he hit the wall he shoved himself away from it, pushing off the floor with his non captive leg.

Timbre's fins dropped slightly when Vigor mentioned the chair, had someone told him already? Probably via transmitter. He fumed for a moment before answering.

"Why would you want any of us to enjoy something?" he asked in a low tone, still angered about the chair comment.

Impact's attempts at lessening damage done to himself and apparently moving from the wall really didn't phase Stygian, nor did he really get why Impact was even attempting it. After all if he wanted to slam him against the wall he could do it again just as easily...But he lashed the tentacle back the opposite way instead, still hanging onto Impact of course, his intention to bring him back to the vary place he'd initially grabbed him at.

The rest of the zetras in the room weren't attempting to help at all. Onyx had finally recovered and retreated somewhat sloppily since his head was kind of knocked senseless and Meteor and Mercury were still trying their best to hide......in a room of openness yes.

OTHER FLOORS ARE BORING =U MAKE A RUN FOR THE TOP DATUM =D No seriously though a lot of the floors look the same. Empty quiet offices and what not. Just halls with closed doors. =P Top floor and the one before it are different. I can describe those when she gets there. I won't have anyone to stop her on these floors. Although it'll state that the top floors are private =U no one's actually there to guard at the moment |D

Impact still tried in vain to get a grip on the slippery floor, no luck. All he could do was try to brace himself for the yank and then the slam into the bottom cupboards of the counter where he had previously been standing. He used his arms for most of the bracing, since he could still move both of those.

I said it wasn't what I intended! Do you not forgive mistakes?

TIMBRE understood Vigor. =U He was still mad about the chair comment.

"Well what motivation do I have providing you with amusement?" he asked, ignoring the fact that Vigor was not speaking with intentions for him to go. Truth be told he DID want to go, if only to be away from that hideous chair for a moment.

Datum continued making her way up then. xD She continued slowly, but as the floors grew more and more alike her confidence went up...as well as the nearness of the other shifter, which also motivated her to move faster.

Stygian still refused to reply, although the tentacle pulled him back slower this time, obviously not with intentions of tossing him against anything else immediately. Another closed in the distance around it, this one wrapping around Impact's neck instead.

Maybe. Stygian finally replied, although it didn't really seem like that was what he was up to. Rather the tentacle was slowly tightening.

Top floor is where the Shifter be. There were some signs and what not specifying that people were not allowed to enter without permission, but no one was really there currently. Not visible anyway, there was a person on the floor below, but they were in an office on a phone--the walls of the little office thing were transparent, but the person was seeming quite busy at the moment and probably wouldn't notice.

Impact's mind was racing...this was not good, not good at all. Stygian could just be messing around right? It wasn't unlike him to kill though. His mind decided his life was in danger, which it was, so he proceeded to reach up and attempted to grasp the tentacle with both hands, one pulling and twisting while the other tried to get his fingers underneath it.

Datum was on the floor with person and paused in the doorway, spotting them and hearing them being active on the phone. She crouched down, starting off slow but, not hearing the floor creak, tried to hurry past them while they were occupied. The other shifter must be close now!
