"To a dead end??" Pulse asked. Yes he talked twice in a row. He didn't quite seem to see the logic in what they were doing but didn't question it any deeper than that as he flew around Fox, with no regard to conserving energy.

Fox didn't answer, nor did he need to. He knew where he was going. It was another hidden base, this one was much much bigger than the brick house or the stump rendezvous. They neared the hidden entrance, which, of course, was a boulder.

(You can make random folk here if ya want, this place is supposed to be populated with rebels.)

Fox kicked the boulder several times. A hidden scanner appeared out of a boulder right next to them. It quietly scanned Fox, and Pulse. Access was denied.

"Would you back up?" Fox asked him as nice as he could. He was terribly annyed however, this was not a time for delays.

Pulse made a circle swoop in the air which carried him back further away from Fox without a word. There he waited for Fox, watching and waiting for a signal to return. While ten contemplates having random people within the place.

(xDD I need to make randoms too. >_<)

With Pulse out of the scanning range, Fox tried again...this time access was granted. It also politely informed Fox that one of the people scanned and authorized was deceased. Fox nodded his head for Pulse to return, the doors wouldn't stay open long. He turned to see if Pulse had gotten and interpreted the signal.

Pulse scurried after him, big ears perked up as he tottered along somewhat waddling...for whatever reason.

Fox stepped inside. He was pleased Pulse knew what he had meant. He watched as Pulse made it in, a few seconds longer and he wouldn't have. The doors shut quickly and several locks could be heard engaging.

It was very bright in the room they were now in, not because of bright-light security like back at the brick house, but simply because it was well-lit.

"I see someone is battery-pack happy, eh Pulse?"

Pulse glanced at the door, tail swishing back and forth before ahead to where Fox had been talking about. He squinted his eyes, obviously not used to such bright light, probably cuz sewers weren't all that bright and shook his head as his ears flopped down against his head. He proceeded to rub at his eyes with his paw then seemed generally okay enough with the conditions. "Battery pack happy." He repeated.

Personality: Nice, kind, likes to protect others, often tends to be quite around people he doesn't know well. He is very smart and knows how to fight, especially since he like being a ninja.

Biography: Being from a different planet, he wasn't really welcomed when he came here. Since then, he's been on the run and causing havoc for the military. This is mostly done by the fact that he is looking for things that they stole from him since he came, like his ship. Having very little luck, he has lotted all bases he's searched and used what he has found to make weapons of his own to help him out.

Current Location: Border of the base...were he's going to do another search.

Patrick was on the ground on the slope of a near by hill. He was scanning the perimeter to check out the security before breaking into the building. This was done with an inferred zoom scope that he stole from the last base he went into.

(And a couple FYI's One: It may take me a bit to get back into the swing of this RP XD two, sometimes my internet DIES extensively XP )

There must have been some emergencies elsewhere at the moment, because the outside guards weren't exactly something to be feared--at least individually. The local alien population was probably equivalent to the danger a good portion of dogs would offer. Half of them were asleep, the others pacing about in disinterest.

"Every time, it seems the security around these bases goes down after I steal from a place. You'd think the security would go up." Patrick said to himself in a whisper. With the way clear you packed up the scope and snuck down the hill to the closest wall of the base, where he put his back up against it to be as flat as possible.

One of the creatures outside--mostly blue with a red and black striped tail, odd horn things and one giant wing that looked to be completely useless, sat near the entrance. It seemed the thing was quite upset. Muttering under its breath in an inaudible way. The others mostly kept their distance. Thusfar the creature had not been alerted.

Patrick snuck up to the creature and put his arm around the creatures mouth while he reached for a dagger to stab the creature in the back with.

The creature tried its best to squirm, flat and wide tail lashing back and forth to try and crash into a leg or get it free in one way or another. It obviously knew such a position wasn't good.

Patrick knew the tail would be a problem and had to act quickly before the tail gave the creature an advantage. He took his blade and stabbed it in the creatures back thrusting upward to get vital organs.

The creature's body tensed before going limp, although that seemed to have alerted the other creatures. Not by sound, simply the fact they were all connected to the presence of another being alive or not. That sudden void meant something was up, so the other smaller ones got up and started looking around.

(woo-hoo! I was wondering if that was an older version of my little pony. )

Patrick had expected this, but was hoping that they wouldn't investigate. Seeing as he was wrong, he took some keys from the creature's side and poured quick dissolving acid on the body before jumping to the roof top, where he laid in the shadows to see what would happen.

(It is XD its starting to remind me more and more of a dinosaur 0_o XDD)
The creatures criss crossed each others paths, making clicking gurgly noises as they tried to figure out what had happened. They didn't seem hugely interested after a bit longer though.

Another creature was coming along though, up a back route. It didn't quite look like the others. Having two tails that held a glowing orb between the two. It had long pointed ears somewhat like a cat with small spots along its green fur. It's back legs were huge, front much smaller and rounded. It must have had some sort of sticky grip considering it was going up the side of a building so easily without claws. (or in essence, this thing >_> http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs42/f/2009/149/1/2/Finished_version_by_Mega10.png ) It was a different type of the creatures below, granted it didn't seem hostile. It wasn't looking for anything as a matter of fact. It just climbed buildings normally to observe the happenings out in the desert.

(Oh oh and just for a ref, these are the main alien guys i use =U they're basically supports to other people XD AKA they usually are partnered either with a soldier or SOMEONE, it's also the general races that run around the outside of bases "guarding" it. The enslaved populations |D ))

Patrick noticed the creature coming up the wall after he saw a strange light coming from the other wall. Not willing to risk being spotted, he found an air vent and climbed into it. He turned on his night vision to help him navigate the dark air vent maze.

(Sure thing XD)

The creature hadn't been alerted to his presence at all, rather it stretched out on the roof, seeming to enjoy the weather, yawned and then went to sleep. Quite the useless alien creature for sure.

Patrick kept pressing down the air vent looking through every vent he came to to see where he was, until he came to a huge storage room.

"This looks like a good place to store a ship." He said as he opened the vent and jumped down to the floor. He then started to look for any signs of his ship.
